Hooman installed 4 potlights in the bedroom and 2 in the washroom as well as a dimmer in the dining area. He was very professional, pleasant and polite. He left everything clean which exceeded my expectations. I am VERY happy. I would highly recommend Hman Electrics!

Required light connection and installation in a small room. Ceiling is exposed concrete and the electrical board was not in a convenient place. Hooman came by and quickly suggested options that limited the amount of holes in the wall and reduced the amount of wiring required to run on the ceiling. He took pride in his work and made sure he was completely satisfied with the work (even with things I didn't even notice until he mentioned it). The process was very smooth, the finish is spotless, especially with the exposed concrete, and very reasonably priced.

I hired Hooman to install an electric car charger earlier this year when the government rebate was still available. He promptly came and did the installation and he was quite nice and personable. However, he promised me that he would schedule a date for the ESA inspection to be done so that I could get the government rebate. Weeks past and I did not hear from him. I probably sent him close to 10 emails and called him over 5 times to find out what was going on. Each time I got him on the phone, he told me that he would schedule the inspection. Twice, he even gave me a specific time/date but he did not come! I actually had my wife stay at home anticipating he would come but he did not! It was extremely unprofessional. Finally, he did charge me a rate with tax and promised me an invoice (which I needed for my rebate) but I did not even get an invoice from him, despite asking every time I contacted him. I finally gave up, as the government incentive was cancelled and quite honestly, I grew so frustrated and tired at whole situation. I must admit my charger is working just fine, but its clear to me that after he got my money, he wasn't interested in delivering what he promised when there was no further incentive for him to do so. Update: I heard back from H Man Electric after posting this review. They said to me that the company was going through a lot of changes and that they apologized for all the inconvenience it caused. They offered to refund the 50% I would have received from the government incentive and still arrange an ESA inspection. They have been true to their word. It was still extremely an extremely frustrating experience but I appreciate that they have taken steps to rectify the situation. Albeit this was only done after I posted a negative review. I want to believe that they were going through a busy/rough patch as the rest of their reviews have been good. Hooman did actually install the charger and cleaned everything up and did a good job. As such, I have given them a 7/10 as I do believe in giving people a second chance.

We are extremely satisfied with the experience H MAN ELECTRIC provided for us. The workers arrived early in the morning and stayed until late evening, completing their tasks with no hesitation. They are very dedicated to finishing their job in an organized and clean way, no matter how long it takes, providing us with a polished and classy final look! Aside from work, they also had excellent customer service since they are approachable and friendly. Overall, we are extremely happy with the final result and will defintely recommend the company to friends and family!

Aly was very informative and knowledgeable about the lights, electrical and general field. I had set up a window for them to come out to give me an estimate between 10-2. They didn't show up but called about 15 minutes afterward to ask when they could come. This is a flag for me but I was taking a bunch of quotes and was home anyways so they tagged along to another companies time. Their costs are very reasonable, they are very efficient, and do a good job. Unfortunately on the day they were to start, they were 2 hours late again which is why they got only a 4 star from me.

Put Potlights in throughout the house and they look amazing. Wonderful job. Very polite and respectful. Gets the work done on time. Would definitely recommend to someone else.

From the start hman was very good. They came to quote as they said and i found price to be fair so i booked with them. When they started i was very happy with what i saw. They were hard working and knew what they were doing and any deviation they had to do they asked me first if it was ok with me. They cleaned up at the end of each day and upon completion of work. I found hman to be very profesional but at the same time like a friend after you see how nice they are . The finished job is amazing and cant thank you enough hooman

Hooman offered a competitive estimate for repairs and new installations in a 100 year old house, and carried out the work with care, precision and professionalism. H Man installed new light fixtures, replaced older ones and worked steadily with brief breaks for 12 hours. They cleaned up everything and are truly as good as the reviews say!

When our bathroom exhaust fan died, and with our usual electrician having moved away, we were left with the challenge of finding a trustworthy, capable professional to take on the job. After having spoken with several contractors listed on HomeStars and elsewhere online, we decided to try Hooman (H Man Electric)—and I’m glad we did. Soon after removing the old fan, he quickly discovered that the duct had separated, which meant that hot, humid air had been venting into the attic, causing some warping of the ceiling. He showed me the issue, and immediately went to Home Depot to purchase a replacement length of duct, along with clamps to secure it. What really surprised us at this point was that although Hooman had already quoted us a competitive price for the initial job, he didn’t charge us more for the additional time and labour he spent with getting the replacement parts and going into the attic to install them. Hooman charged us only the nominal cost he paid for the parts, and gave us the receipt for reference. By the time Hooman had finished replacing the fan and upgrading the duct, he had meticulously cleaned up the area where he’d been working, which had been covered with debris of all sizes and materials. Hooman is polite and professional, and we’ll be calling on him for future electrical projects—as well as recommending him highly.
