Benny did an awesome job removing the decorative plaster on our living and dining room ceiling. The new plaster result was amazing; blemish free, so smooth. We were extremely happy with his work; his cleanliness of the worksite and he gave us a respectable quote. We also appreciated that he went the extra mile to accommodate our timeline for the next contractor to come in. He is clearly a master at his trade. I had my ceilings and crown mouldings in the living and dining rooms in need of desperate repair as well as my bedroom which, l was told by an inspection company, had mould that had to be removed by gutting it! I didnt want my wallpaper on the living and dining room walls removed, which could have made it very difficult to replace the crown mouldings, which needed to be totally removed! Benny did an excellent job by designing new crown mouldings, using drywall and plaster. The ceilings look so good that you would never know that they had gone through extensive repairs! A nice, smooth and seamless look is the result! Others have commented as well on how good the ceilings now look! I am very pleased with my bedroom as well which now looks very clean and brand new! Seeing the amazing results shows Bennys skills as a Master Plasterer! Its a fact of life that in any project, things dont always run as smoothly as planned! Despite a few hic ups (some beyond our control), Benny handled it all as best he could-his priority being to make me a happy client! Benny aimed to please, and he would often go beyond what was required of him even when I would change or add something more to the job! All in all, Benny did a great job! If youre looking for a good, hard-working, honest and trustworthy person, l would recommend Benny (and his helper, Sean, who is also hard-working)! It was a pleasure to have hired Benny and would do it again!

Benny and his team did a phenomenal job on my ceilings. Benny's craftsmanship is superb. His professionalism I have never experienced before. His start and finish dates were precise . We were ecstatic to discover Benny on Home Stars. My search for an expert in skimming old ripple plaster from the 1920s led me to him. The outdated ripple plaster texture was present throughout my home, and I wanted it removed. During our on-site consultation, Benny took the time to evaluate the scope of work and proposed the best use of labor. He offered suggestions on what should be replaced with fresh new drywall and what could be skimmed and salvaged, all while keeping my budget in mind. I appreciated his approach, and we hired him. The work began, and I was amazed at how skillfully he removed all the rippled plaster on the walls. Given the rough condition of my 1920s house, with cracked walls and lifting plaster, Benny worked wonders and made it look pristine in the end. The attention to detail and level of quality were truly remarkable and exceeded my expectations. Plus, Benny referred me to an exceptional painter as well as a carpenter - both highly skilled with fair rates. I couldnt have asked for a better group of talent on my project. Since my renovation is still ongoing, I do not have after photos to share accept for this one wall near the staircase that is now ultra smooth, thanks to Benny!

Benny was honest with his assessment and had a true appreciation for the old walls of our 1913 house, which had a fat crack on the wall (lathe and plaster). He was conservative in his assessment of the rest of the house ("no need to fix that now, it might last you a few extra years) and accepted to fix some holes in the ceiling left from our HVAC technician from a different install. It took about 3-4 weeks from quote to work day, given his busy schedule he completed the work in a day, and even had some paint from a different job to do touchups from our ceiling work. Impeccable work, kept the work area super clean and was professional with keeping our new floors unscathed. Thank you Benny!

Benny replied within a few days to the request, arrived, assessed and submitted a quote same day started 48 hours later. Arrived in a timely fashion and right away meticulously covered every inch of the work surface. Was very professional and completed the job as quotes. Superb quality and professionalism. He is amazing at what he does and works with exceptional pride and attention to detail. I am beyond satisfied. Was overall excellent and amazing work.

Benny is a real pro - responsive, honest, and reliable. We had just moved into our new place and wanted to address the popcorn ceiling in our living room and entryway. He responded quickly to my quote request, scheduled an in-person meeting promptly, and stuck to the availability he provided at the quote we discussed. He turned it around in the 3 days he promised with minimal disruption. Highly recommend Benny for popcorn ceiling removal!

I am one of the fussiest home owners when it comes to things done in my home. My family room was damaged due to a water leak so decided to remove the stucco from the ceiling & make it a smooth ceiling flat with new pot lights. Went on Homestars & saw these amazing reviews of Benny's Stucco Removal so decided to call and discuss the job with him. Initially didn't quite buy such great reviews so thought I would pursue this and did with no regrets. I sent Benny photos of Family Room along with a floor plan and emailed to him and I had an estimate back the following day. Basically, this job was done on a "handshake" like the good old days as both he and I felt comfortable with one another. He arrived on the day the time he said he would, despite not realizing it was a civic holiday. The first time I met Benny was at my home that day. Look no further if you want to put your mind at ease, as Benny is the right person for this type of work with many years of experience. You won't find a timelier contractor out there. Arrived at my home on the button, always kept me informed as to the progress he was making on a daily basis and what the next step was. I must say Benny is a perfectionist. The Job was more difficult as my stippled ceiling was painted with oil paint. It took Benny an extra day to finish the job as he added 2 extra coats of lath (unexpected) and honoured his quote not billing me for the extra supplies and time he spent on my ceiling, to make certain it met his high standards he has set for himself. Every other contractor advised me that they would not able to match up the paint color (Benjamin white ceiling paint straight of the can) for my family room with the adjacent open flat ceiling being the kitchen (which was painted several yrs prior with same white ceiling paint) and wanted to charge several hundred dollars extra, but Benny with his experience felt he could and did, saving me a lot of money and anguish. Clean up was not even painful as there was not the big mess I anticipated, as he has the right equipment for this type of work and made sure the rooms were properly sealed before commencing work. I would very highly recommend Benny. He is truly a real gentleman hard to find these days. Benny it was a real pleasure dealing with you and hope you read this review. Harry J

Benny came out to help us remove the popcorn ceiling in a few rooms in our house. He did a fantastic job, the ceilings in those rooms now look so much nicer than the other ceilings in the house. Even though the job was a bit harder than he originally anticipated, he still completed it on time and on budget. Benny was all around great to work with and I highly recommend him.
