Mohammad is very knowledgeable. He took time to explain the requirements and the process. He responded promptly to all requests from city inspector, contractors as well as me. The plan required alteration due to existing plumbing and Mohammad quickly found the right solution to make things work without compromising safety. I will surely use his company for any future work and would highly recommend Sauzteq Engineering to everyone.

Mohammad was very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. He came in for drawing up engineering plans to remove 2 load bearing walls at my residence. He was very meticulous and detailed in his work and asked all the right questions. I also received my drawing much earlier than the proposed date! As part of the sale of our house, we needed to have a structural post in our basement certified by an Engineer. Mohammad was able to help us right away to get the post evaluated, drawings done up, communicating with our contractor throughout the work, and then getting the work evaluated upon completion. The whole way, Mohammad was incredibly helpful and ensured that we had everything we needed to get the job done correctly.

We are renovating our main floor and taking out a supporting wall and required a structural engineer to provide a plan. I spoke with a couple of structural engineers neither of whom would assist with the permiting process and also suggested using a BCIN designer as well. I called Mohammad who answered the call himself, and made an appointment for the next day. He arrived promptly, inspected the the supports in the basement (opening holes in the drywall to see what was necessary) and took measurements of the every room in the house which the city requires. Within a few days he had plans prepared, a permit requisition in, and permit approval. All accomplished quickly and without any snags. Thank you Mohammad.

Highly recommend! Mohammad was pleasant, professional, communicative and efficient. His price for this work was also lower than the other 2-3 quotes we received. In addition to the permit drawings for our load-bearing wall removal, he managed our permit application for a small additional fee. I appreciated this option. The exploratory engineering work at our home in preparation for a renovation was done efficiently and with care. The structural drawings were supplied and revisions were quickly implemented. As additional service at our request, all building permit applications were handled professionally, including arranging a required HVAC study. Our permit was approved in an incredibly fast few weeks. Mohammad answered my Homestars request within minutes and we booked a consult a couple of weeks out. He came on time, was incredibly knowledgeable and walked us through the possible options of removing a load bearing wall. In addition to him confirming that our wall was indeed load bearing, we also hired him to produce a set of architectural drawings that we can now give to a future contractor once we are ready. to do the renovations. We will also likely consult Mohammad once the projects starts so that he can confirm that our contractor follows his specifications.
