We hired MRE to build a stamped concrete patio in August 2024, but were extremely disappointed by the service and workmanship. After installation, we found incomplete stamp impressions, chipping stamp edges, and excessive patio slope (more than 14” over 20’) MRE required full payment before the concrete was poured and were not willing to address any of these concerns or offer fixes. We picked a two tone design where the border was a different color and were sent to their cement plant to pick out colors. On installation day the concrete that arrived was all one color and they came back to stain the concrete a week later with whatever stain they had in the back of their truck which did not match what we picked. Almost immediately the stain started flaking off. Project debris remained for six weeks until we made repeated requests for removal. By April 2026, the patio surface is showing pitting and flaking (no salt is used in the winter) and the stained borders look horrible.

I hired MRE Development to replace concrete walkway and front terrace with exposed aggregate, including removal of the old ones. There was a delay on the scheduling and made me worried a little, considering it was on Oct and the weather getting colder. But the most important thing is that the job is done very well, at a reasonable cost. I am very happy with the outcome. That's why I am happy writing this testimony here and other places. I am always nervous when hiring contractors and had lots of bad experience myself. But Michael showed me a good faith and agreed on the payment term that protected my interest more. He earned my trust. It's a right call after all. Thank you for the job well done, Michael and team.

The concrete team showed up and started work right away, I was impressed how fast they got everything done and did a great job of handling a difficult side walk with stairs. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves and I wouldnt hesitate to hire them again.
