Steve was very professional, knowledgeable and efficient as he took the time to explain the seriousness of our problem. Turns out I was very close to starting an electric fire. My outlets were literally blackened and burnt due to the nature of its installation (10+ years ago), the constant use of my (cheap) space heater overnight, and other electronics all plugged into the same line. This overload knocked out the lights to my room and the one adjacent that shared the same circuit. I wish I took a photo of the outlet that he replaced - instead Ive attached a photo of the my burnt space heaters plug). Certainly you can understand how extremely lucky and grateful I am to have Steve come the same day to address this potentially tragic issue. Thank you Steve and BigGuy Electric Inc. 12 out of 10 would recommend!

This work was done back in Dec. 2019 I had just bought a replacement dryer. Once delivered the plug on the dryer was in a different location and too short to reach the outlet. Home depot since me 3 referrals, I select BigGuy Electric Inc. Very glad I did. I contacted Steve, told him the issue, as well as the basement is unfinished, emailed him photo. We setup appointment to come out the next day. The very old outlet was uninstalled as well as the wiring. Install brand new 30amp dryer outlet, ran the wiring into the electrical panel. I would definitely hire BigGuy Inc. again.

Had my panel upgraded, Several pot lights installed, and a bathroom light moved . They were professional, accommodating, did excellent work at a great price. I highly recommend them.

The guys were quick and professional and they even cleaned up my internet cords and box after the job. They spent time labelling everything and walked me through how to use the new fuse panel. I would recommend them to anyone needing electrical work.

Long overdue kudos to this company, and specifically to Tico. Our range hood died in 2019 so we bought a replacement and contacted Big Guy Electric to install it in Summer 2020. Not only did they respond quickly, but Tico did a great job of fitting the range hood into the existing space without having to cut cupboards or walls. Almost a year later, and the range hood (which is used almost daily) is fixed firmly in place with no vibrations. We would recommend this company!

I would highly recommend BigGuy Electric. As the result of damage caused by another contractor, a section of wire from the main panel to my first floor powder room needed to be replaced. I reached out to BigGuy Electric on the morning of April 23rd and within 6 hours the wire had been replaced. Thank you Steve for the prompt and professional service!

Steve and co-worker were prompt, professional, friendly and did fast and thorough work on a small but necessary job. We were in a pinch and they were able to do the work quickly and according to our availability. We will hire again and tell our friends! Thank you, Steve!

After seaching for a electrician to repair our 30' tall yard light I came across BigGuy Electric. I emailed on Sunday and Steve responded to it on Sunday nite! After a few conversations we came up with a solution and by Wednesday at noon our yard light was shining brightly on a very dark area. I highly recommend Steve and his crew. This kind of professionalism is very rare these days. Our location is Bolton On.

It’s absolutely refreshing to write this review. Steve is amazing – from our initial phone call right until the job was completed! I had such a great experience with him. I hired Steve to install LED potlights on the entire main floor of my home and an outlet in my bedroom. He even fixed a chandelier that I put up incorrectly free of charge. He did the job quickly and was very respectful of my home. Everything was completely covered up during the job, and there was not a trace of him having been here when he left, except the great lighting of course! He is professional, friendly, fair on pricing, has great design suggestions, punctual, honest, trustworthy and easy to work with. I’m very satisfied with the quality of his work and will definitely use him again….and so should you! Thank you so much Steve.
