Workmanship very poor. Attention to detail very poor. These guys were probably learning on the job as they went along. Ken seems okay but there seems to be a lack of communication between the two.

Ken did an amazing job and fixed a very complex problem that I have had for years with my over 100 year old house. He was dedicated to doing a great job and was very thorough. He explained everything very well.

Isolation, lockdown, sequestered and heartbroken. You may think that we are describing our Covid experience, but no, these were some of the emotions we were feeling after going through 2 contractors, trying to turn our Century home into our forever home. This is how we felt BEFORE we met Ken. After waiting years to do our renos, our previous contractor had left us in a lurch, with our money and also a major mess up that left us with structural issues. We were skeptical to say the least. We didn't trust anybody. The first time we met Ken, unable to use the normal pleasantries of greeting somebody, a firm handshake or a big smile. The only thing we knew about him was that his laughter filled the room, and his smile permeated his mask. We told Ken our horror stories. He said, "I'm sorry that happened, I will turn this around. Trust me." After the reno experiences we had, trust could only be built one day at a time. The first week seemed, surreal and 'here we go again' (deep inhale). ken was our third contractor and every time we set a goal and he met it, we had to pinch ourselves to make sure it was really happening. We kept waiting for the bomb to drop. But that never happened and by the end of our project, we knew he was the real deal. Ken had a steep hill to climb: he had to prove himself technically and also win over our trust. Not only did Ken display professionalism and a sense of urgency with our job, but the team that he works with were just as dedicated and skilled as he said they would be. Often times working late into the evening to meet our timeline. Ken is an amazing project manager, skilled contractor, has a wealth of knowledge, and on occasion, was also our marriage counselor! Ken worked well with our designer and coordinated all aspects of our project. He was able to manage our anxieties and reassure us every step of the way. Ken is an excellent communicator and met with us daily to keep us in the loop of what was happening and to have our input. Ken is a man of integrity, focus and has an incredible work ethic. Ken and his team worked hard to complete our project within 6 weeks. We had our old floors ripped out, new subfloors and hardwood put in, our plaster ceiling replaced, our structural issues resolved safely by removing un-needed LVL beam and reinforce our joists. Ken put in new plumbing, pot lights and electrical work and also re-routed our HVAC system. Ken helped us create an open concept kitchen and installed a new island and dishwasher. Ken helped us through any unforeseen issue that came up. Ken has a great passion for what he does and was committed to our project from beginning to end. We are indebted to him and his team. We are now able to enjoy the tranquility of our new home, so important, especially during Covid times. We would definitely recommend Ken and will be going back to him for any projects needed in the future! Ken is honestly a salt of the earth guy who has a heart of gold.

It was a real pleasure working with Ken and his team. Ken was attentive to our project needs and budget and helped shape our vision for our deck, stairs, and fence. He was flexible and patient as we flip-flopped about exactly what we wanted. He gave us space and time to settle on exactly what we wanted to do, but once we communicated what we wanted, he moved quickly and efficiently to finish a project that had technical and challenging aspects. His communication skills are excellent and he was easy to contact and easy to talk to. He was again patient when we asked him to wait to finish the job so that some other work could get done on another part of the property by someone else, but made sure to be available when we were ready to have him back on the site. He also accommodated us when we at the last minute needed to make some additions to the project (the fence). Executing a big project at home is always stressful, but working with Ken really helped minimize the stress. Easy to highly recommend.

Ken and his team were amazing and the deck is where we spend most if our awake time now! Right from the start, he was friendly and easy to deal with. We knew we wanted to build a fairly large deck for the family to have room to lounge and kids to have room to play with their water toys. Ken gave us an accurate estimate and was extremely transparent and honest from start to finish. As they were building they also changed things and made additions as we requested (such as the privacy fence) and still finished by the promised completion time. We have dealt with plenty of contractors and none have been as easy to deal with as Ken and his team. I highly recommend him for your future projects!

Ken and his crew were quick to respond and transparent with my deck patio project. He takes pride in his projects and it definitely shows in the quality of his work. I can finally enjoy some time outdoors in my backyard!

Ken Was prompt in meeting with me to review the opportunity and was very professional in his manner while preparing his estimate. The work was professionally completed in the budgeted time and cost. I have used Ken for my complicated basement renovation project recently. Ken and his crew did outstanding work. Ken has lots of experience, and he is ably to easily visualize the required work from plans. Our drawings were fairly detailed, but thanks to Ken's knowledge, we corrected some issues with our plan, and the result was above all expectations. Ken and his crew are very knowledgeable, honest and trustworthy. His response time is amazing. I warmly recommend him, you will be very pleased with the work!

Ken was kind enough to squeeze my renovation job in on short notice to accommodate my needs with my family and he is a joy to work with. There are so many good things to say: he started and finished on time, his work ethic is fantastic, the job site was so so clean all the time, he worked to budget, kept in great communication with me, listened to my requests and never told me that it couldn't be done. His behind the scenes work is very compact and efficient, wiring, plumbing, floor construction and supports, all the structure before the design elements are installed. He placed a lot of thought to access needs in the future, turn off values, junction boxes and additional support for the floating cabinets that I had installed. His tile work is clean and crisp, I had a barn-board wall installed and he choose the best pieces for maximum impact and made sure the wall was flush between the tile and board thickness. He handled all the trades required for the different elements, but he has the experience to do most of the work himself. He made sure that my house was protected from the front door to the back bathroom by covering the floor for the duration of the renovation and when the job was over, he cleaned everything on the way out of the door. I felt very comfortable leaving him to access the house when we were gone and well definitely use him again.

Ken and his team came in as scheduled and completed the work promptly with no problems. As questions arose he communicated his ideas and concerns along with suggestions when we were at an stalled point.
