We had an issue where a squirrel made it into our walls through the chimney. Tristan gave a detailed quote of all the work. He did a great job in reducing the chimney stack and adding a concrete slab to ensure no wildlife can enter. He showed up on time and finished the job quickly. The cleanup was done well. I would happily rehire Tristan for another job.

The team from Green Light Masonart did a great job repointing the crumbling mortar between our stone and bricks. Highly recommmend him and his team. Reasonably priced, easy to work woth and they know what their doing. Everything was cleaned up when they left. Wouldnt know they were there except for the great looking walls!

In a world where everyone tries to rip you off, there was a green light coming from the end of the tunnel. Now leaving literature aside, I have only good things to say about Tristan and his team. My relatively small chimney showed signs of distress, the top 2-3 brick layers started to slowly exfoliate. I called many masonry companies and all, except Green Light Masonry and another one, wanted to do a complete chimney rebuild on the grounds that the chimney is compromised and they don't want to do work that would collapse in a year or two. Ridiculous! The real reason is that a complete rebuild is much more profitable for the company. I ended up contracting Tristan for the repair and I am glad I did. They replaced the top 3 brick layers and the cap, while the flue was preserved as it was in good condition. The chimney was wrapped in a metal mesh and then parged with cement and later finished with mortar for a nice finish. I painted it with white waterproof masonry paint to give that slick European look. (I hate the look of bricks, especially on chimneys). The work was done professionaly and in a timely manner. I would recommend Green Light Masonry for those who want quality work but don't want to pay double or triple to cover for the overhead (inefficiencies) of bigger companies. I have now a bulletproof chimney that will last for many decades to come, much stronger and much nicer. I wanted to attach a few pictures with before, during, and after stages, but Homestars limits the reviews to one picture. In addition, at my request, they parged the visible part of the foundation (just below the last brick layer) at the front of the house, which looks like new again.

We cannot say enough good things about Green Light Masonry, namely Tristan the owner. What a gift this man and his team were! We had a concrete patio and porch landing poured earlier this summer, where the design called for bricks to be installed around the perimeter as decorative trim. The design itself was complicated with odd angles, curves and sloping within the adjoining property. We couldn't find anyone willing (or even able) to do the work. After nearly 3 months of searching, Tristan was referred to us by our Electrician (who is also an amazing gift, so we trusted his judgment!) When Tristan came by, he was prompt, responsive and very clear on what could be done. We knew the job was complicated and would take some brainstorming, but Tristan was excellent with asking questions and coming by the house a few times before the job took place to make sure he was clear on what was expected. He was honest in that he had never done this type of work before as his masonry work was generally done on housing (vertically) and not on landscaping. But we trusted him and at that point, we were just happy to have someone take on the work. Tristan and his team just completely blew us away! In total, the job took about 2 days to complete in full. These guys HUSTLED! We couldn't believe how fast they worked! They were tidy, courteous to the neighbours (with all the dust) and fun to have around. And the outcome was nothing short of SPECTACULAR! For someone who had never done this type of project before, we absolutely cannot believe how stunning the work is! The next day, at least 5 neighbours and passebys stopped to marvel at the work and tell us how beautiful it looks! It's THAT show stopping! We will definitely be keeping Tristan on our speed dial and will have him back in the spring to complete a ton of other masonry work needed (tuck and point...it's an old house!) Thank you Tristan!!!

Tristan showed up on time with his crew and completed the work in two hours. The work was very neat and tidy. Also before he left I asked him to look at another issue I had to see if he would be interested in doing it and he just went and got his equipment and sorted this issue immediately. I would definitely recommend him and will contact him for any further work I may need.

Tristan of Green Light Masonry was great to work with. He was responsive, reliable and his price was reasonable. It was a challenge to match the brick so Tristan sent me photos of the various options available in todays market and we were able to come up with an excellent match. He did both tuck pointing and parging. The work was well done. He was careful to ensure the work site was neatly maintained and cleaned up nicely after the job was completed. I would highly recommend this company.

The Tristans team fixed some broken bricks and did parging around the garage. They did a great job with very competitive prices. Tristan and his team is easy to work with. He is very responsive and punctual. The team came at time and did excellent job, exactly as promised. I will definitely hire him again in the future. Highly recommended.
