Worked with Heliotechnik to install a powerwall 3 in anticipation of adding a solar system next year. The crew was very professional and the ESA inspector was highly pleased with the work (and I know said inspector is not the easiest to get high marks from).

Price above includes HST. Heliotechnik's quote was a little higher than others but justifiably so. They offered us a larger system, high-quality inverter that allows detailed monitoring, and huge support throughout the process. They took care of permits, etc., were available frequently for questions, invariably polite, pleasant, etc. when working, and made the whole thing a good experience. There were delays working around the permitting process from the city and from Hydro. They warned us to expect these and did their best to work around and readjust as needed every time. Overall can't speak highly enough of Beau and the rest of the team. Same goes for Anna in their customer service. If seeking a quote, they'll answer your questions well, honestly, and with as much detail as you prefer. Would happily and highly recommend them!

Flat out: Beau did a terrible job which has led to $$$$ in repair and unpaid licensing approval. #1 This install took almost a year to complete. Being a small one man operation Beau had a hard time securing labour during covid. #2 Unsecured fuse boxes with no restraining connectors on wiring left 2 electrical junction boxes exposed on the roof. #3 Inadequate wiring for the safe operation of the system. Half the system was over loading and blowing fuses. Beau refused to fix the problem and would not answer calls and emails. An outside company had to be called in to rewire the roof panels. Cost $5,000! #4 Failure to pay for building permit that WE PAID FOR! $440. #5 Failure to secure engineering approval that WE PAID FOR! $1,000. to $2,000 (waiting for final bill) The township is demanding mandatory approval to close the permit, but Beau has all of the technical application papers and will not hand them over. Moreover the township inspector has said he has been chasing after Beau for TWO YEARS and is fed up. He is demanding we look after it. # 5 Year Warranty... that Beau did not honour This was a very large solar system and above Heliotechnik's ability. In hind sight we should have gone with a professional company. This however does not excuse TAKING our money and NOT paying the inspectors and government licensing authorities.

I engaged Heliotechnik to purchase and install the solar panels on my roof. From the very beginning, they were very professional and knowledgeable. Their price was very competitive. Throughout the installation process, they were on-time and they cleaned up daily. They worked around my delicate plants!! Their after sales service has been excellent....always ready to answer my queries. Very HAPPY that I retained the services of Heliotechnik. Thank you Heliotechnik!

We signed up for the microfit program to put solar panels on our roof and sell power back to Toronto Hydro. Beau and Heliotechnik was our installer and arranged all of the materials as well. We were very impressed with how professional and service oriented they were as we went through all of the steps in the project. We first had to add some additional supports in our attic as the structural engineer required, then they were able to install all of the panels on the roof. Finally, they coordinated the installation of the inverter and the hook up to the electrical grid with the city and then we were up and running. Everything was really seamless and we felt very taken care of the whole way through. After everything was up and running, Beau was great in providing additional services and follow up as we dealt with some unexpected complications. We had to add some metal mesh to help keep out some raccoons and we had to add an aluminum railing to keep the snow from sliding down over our door, but Heliotechnik was great at providing these "add-ons" at very reasonable rates and under very urgent timeframes. Highly recommend them and we were very pleased with how it all turned out.

We had Beau and his team do our installation in 2012. Little over 8yrs later now and I'm happy to report that our system has been rock solid. We live in a particularly windy area in Vaughan and sometimes I worry the whole roof could fly off. But clearly a very well installed racking... I've seen neighbors shingles blown off and my are totally protected. These guys aren't fly by night for sure. Clearly they've stayed in business for so many years based on the quality of their work... my own personal experience when they did my home was they were very professional and thorough. I particularly liked their personalized experience, they didn't see me as "just another job" but took the time to answer all my questions and come back to review any concerns I had by actually getting back on the roof to take the time to make sure all was well. Their after-install care is great too. Even years later they follow up to check on my system and address any concerns. That is when you know you went with the right company.
