Attended at home in a timely way and diagnosed problem with fridge.

Fast, very friendly service to schedule, test and replace my Kitchen Aid oven element. All good, though labour charge was “pricey” for the very short time it took to do the job. (+50% mark-up on the retail cost of the part).

Review: I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with Icare Appliance Repair. I contacted them through LG to have my fridge repaired under warranty. While the part was covered, I was charged $500 for installation. The technician replaced the compressor, but in the process, he disconnected the water line for the ice maker. He reattached the line, but it had a dripping leak that went unnoticed for several days, eventually flooding our basement. When we called them to fix their mistake, they refused to come back unless we set up another service call through LG, effectively getting paid twice for their error. The technician returned the next day, looked at the fridge, and told me to call a plumber, offering no further explanation and only saying that his manager would call me. The manager did not call until the next day and claimed they had no responsibility for the leak. I explained that the plumber confirmed the leak was caused by their technician, and I questioned how a fridge that had been in place for eight years suddenly developed a leak right after their service. The manager simply told me to contact my insurance company, leaving me with a $1000 deductible. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I am deeply disappointed with the lack of accountability and customer service from Icare Appliance Repair.

Fantastic service and repair was successful. Alexi called in advance to let me know approximate time of arrival within my allocated time window. Polite, friendly and mindful of clean up upon job completion. Very happy with this service received from scheduling the repair appointment to having the service completed. Will be using this company again for any future appliance repair's.

Heating coil broke in my dryer. Only blowing cool air... Icare sent out a fella. He did a good job. But unfortunately when installing new heating coil. He broke it. By accident. Came the next day with another heater coil. Installed it. Successfully!!! Now i know how to replace a heater coil in the future!!!

After initally talking with Icare, I found out there was a warranty option for me to have my fridge fixed. They sent me to LG to get the warranty work set up and then they came out to do the work. This was done back in January. I can say that the work was done quickly, they clean up after themselves, everything was exactly as they said it would be. I am very pleased and appreciate that they sent me to get the warranty information rather than just coming out and charging me. I would definitely work with them again. It's been 6 months since they did the work and my fridge is working extremely well.

iCare responded quickly to our request for service. Vlad was polite and was able to determine the problem immediately. He took the time to examine the whole dryer - in addition to replacing our broken belt, he also cleaned out the entire dryer and lubricated the rollers. Our dryer runs much quieter and more efficiently.
