Emil arrived when indicated. Note to HomeStars ask for mobile nos as I provided land line no and texting updates failed. Emil quickly determined problem. My repair tech did such a good job I emailed this to the company (Pegasus) and Im just copying that letter below. I was totally pleased with the value for the high quality work. Hello Pegasus! I am not sure who this is going to get to in your company, but I wanted to take a quick second to let you know how pleased I was with the service rendered at my house yesterday. Adrian came and fixed both the damper on my fridge and the door on my washing machine. He took his time assessing the problems, listened to my information and amateur diagnosis, explained my options and the associated costs, and gave intelligent feedback on my potential choices moving forward. The work was done promptly after the parts arrived, he showed me the defective part and dealt with what I am sad to say was a not so pristine fridge both emptying and reassembling it post repair. He was a pleasant man who was respectful to my house and cleaned up beautifully - leaving it a bit cleaner than he found it actually. All in all I was so pleased that I was compelled to write and tell you as much. I dont think it will happen that often but I will certainly use your company in the future should the need arise and will recommend you in glowing terms if I get the opportunity. S

The repair man was polite, informative about the unavailability of parts for this make and model, but showed me how to clean the filters (info not in the product manual) and informed me that keeping it further out from the wall might solve the overheating problem. The fridge has been running fine since, saving me the cost of replacing it for now.
