Meadowlands did a fantastic job renovating my unfinished basement into a legal living space! Without their ability to finance us this wouldnt have been possible!! We really needed an extra source of income to cover our new born expenses! From our first consultation to the finished product, MeadowlandsGroup was an absolute joy from their service, management and overall quality. We are thrilled for the extra money the basement will bring us and the added value to our home!

I hired Meadowlands in August to build a basic 14x27 ft concrete patio. First I had to stop them from changing the shape, which led to them almost leaving the job before they had barely started (having already paid them 50%). Then they tried to get out of paving over a plant bed (within the agreed area). That too led to a big to-do. When they finally finished, after the first rainfall, the water didn't drain from a section of the patio, leaving a large 1/2" deep puddle there. After three months of waiting during which they came twice to patch it up, this is what it looks like (see photos). I chased them to fix it until it was already winter and too late to do anything. As you can see, they are very far from professional. They are not even good amateurs. Its embarrassing to show it to anyone.

We recently had our kitchen and living room area extended by Meadowlands Group Inc., a family-owned business recommended by a friend. From start to finish, they were incredibly professional and attentive to our needs. They helped us with the application process to get our permits, and they had a great in-house team that provided us with the drawings needed to move ahead plus they answered all the questions we had along the way! What a beautiful experience, this was definitely a rare encounter!

We couldn't be more thrilled with the garden suite addition completed by Meadowlands Group Inc! From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Consultation was thorough and thoughtful. Zak the project manager took his time to understand our vision for the garden suite and provided valuable insights based on their expertise. He listened attentively to our preferences and offered creative suggestions that enhanced the design. Throughout the construction phase, the professionalism and craftsmanship were evident in every detail. The team worked diligently, ensuring each element was executed with precision and care. Despite the inevitable challenges of any project, they managed the timeline effectively and kept us informed at every step. What a fantastic experience it has been working with Meadowlands Group inc. Our deck was falling apart, and looked terrible as the paint was peeling. We needed some help to repair, but we didn't have a huge budget. Meadowlands did a great job repairing our deck and staining it so it looked like new! They did everything we asked, on budget, and the July delays were due to inclement weather. The deck now looks like new, we are very happy customers and would definitely choose to use them again!

I do not recommend Meadowland Group Inc for kitchen and bath reno. On my job, > they did not finish contracted workscope (i.e. absolutely no appliances installed or even prepared for installation), > poor workmanship (fridge water line valve installed in footprint of fridge preventing installation, drywall patches and corner seams unfinished and not ready for painting) > damaged/leaking pipe behind shower wall (damaged when installing shower wall boards, found 2 mo after work done when shower wall warped) > kitchen ceiling lights not installed as per contract > a mismatched shower wall tile (off color and texture} was installed and left, even though there were 1.5 boxes of spare tile was available > technician was consistently dismissive to women client, > cheapest materials bought and used when not supplied by client > absolutely "no warranty on cash deals", even with a contract. Also discovered during shower rework by new contractor was significant debris left behind wall (including a bag of poop from when toilet out of service) and significant construction debris in the shower drain line which would have compacted and caused shower flooding in future. My experience with Meadowland was not good and I do not recommend them. PS: Their subcontractors for cabinets and countertops were excellent, but again, client had to recognize, decline and upgrade the cheap foil wrap cabinet doors which were not identified as such in Meadowland quote. However, the Meadowland Group Inc general contractors doing reno in bathroom and kitchen did not deliver contracted scope and provided no support when pluming leakage found. ====== My follow-up to the Meadowland Group Inc comments on this review as follows: I had to negotiate deductions for unfinished and sloppy work at time of walkthrough. In retrospect, I did not withhold enough, but that's on me Later, when I identified the discovery of a slow water drip/leak in plumbing behind shower wall, Meadowland Group Inc had choice to ... a} investigate b) compensate c) deny all and attack the client As apparent from Meadowland Group Inc comments below, they chose option "c, which completes my Meadowland Group Inc experience and solidifies my rating of 2/10 for this review. It cost me an additional $32K with another contractor to complete, fix and redo the work done by Meadowland Group Inc I have added pictures to my review, taken on walkthrough day which illustrate my review comments. If Meadowland Group Inc has pictures of complete appliance installs as they say they do, perhaps they can photoshop some into their pictures and they can share those.

Would highly recommended Meadowlands! They were highly responsive and very professional throughout the sales process and the project. Zak always kept me informed and was great to work with. The quality of their work was top notch.

The work was competitively priced. The time to complete the work and excellent client communication.

Had an incredible experience with Zak and his team. They were so prompt, professional, kind and did a really great job! We will absolutely recommend them for anyone looking to get some larger backyard contractor work done, especially stone work.
