We had a small-ish residential job. Not a new build. We needed a city permit hence required a structural engineer to review plans and certify. We recieved 3 Quotes from Homestars recommended providers for a Structural Engineer. We hired Utes simply because Utes was very responsive, honoured his time committments and was an excellent communicator. We appreciated his professonalism and the fact that he honored his time committments. Always on time. Always on schedule. He made the process to obtain a City Permit effortless. A true pleasure to work with.

Arash was professional and courteous from the outset of our home renovation project. We ran into issues with the Urban Forestry department in the city and Arash was able to help us navigate the obstacles to get the project back on track. Great engineering firm we will definitely consult again for future projects. Highly recommend UTES for drawings, permits and knowledge in the overall process.

Utes Engineering was a pleasure to work with - Arash responded and coordinated a site visit very quickly and was responsive throughout the process. The job relates to removal of a structural post on main floor of a two story house - preliminary plans had been drawn up by the contractor and Arash was open to working in a complimentary way and to providing insightful alternative solutions as necessary. I needed Ontario building code requirements for some floor joist modifications in an existing structure. Arash, with the Utes company, gave me a rapid response, and carefully and detailed specifications, that fully satisfied my requirements. I was very pleased with his performance and would recommend him to other customers.

I renovated my house in May 2019, there was a structural wall between the kitchen and living room area; I wanted to remove the wall under the direction of an engineer as well as a building permit to ensure of the safety/quality of the work. Arash was helpful during the process including the structural review, permit drawings preparation, submission to the City, interaction with the City to clear the reviewer comments and getting the final permit. I enjoyed working with Utes as they are responsive, on time, quick and providing high quality engineering and permit services.
