Having worked along side Matt on multiple projects over the past several years, I have come to rely on his expertise and knowledge. He is hard working, reliable and trustworthy. Our projects can range from simple touch ups to painting full condo units and high profile homes and Matt has always handled himself professionally and completed his task on time and always to the highest standard. I would highly recommend Skeleton Crew Painting for any renovation or project you need a painter for.

I highly recommend Matt from Skeleton Crew Painting. I was moving from out of province, and he met up with my Realtor to do an on-site quote, which was really appreciated. I had requested the ceilings and walls to be done and then once on sight realized that the doors and trim also needed to be updated. Matt was awesome and worked into the late hours so I could be move in ready. We had some issues with the paint covering the old colour and again Matt went above and beyond to correct the issue. He has a great eye for detail and wants his customers to be 100% satisfied. He even offered to come back after the move, in case there were any touch ups that were needed. Matt is super personable and has a great work ethic. If youre looking for for a highly conscientious, skilled professional, hes your guy. Im loving my clean, fresh white look!

We hired Matt/Skeleton Crew Painting for a job in October 2022. The job involved painting a hallway and a living room. We were unable to do the painting on our own as we had a newborn baby, and our house has very high walls/ceilings (13ft and higher). The job was completed in December 2022. Matt is pleasant and friendly as a person. However, we would not hire Matt/Skeleton Crew Painting for painting your house and we do not recommend them, for the following reasons: 1) Matt was initially very responsive to emails and texts when we were first booked the job. However once the job was booked, Matt was late to scheduled work times and tried to cancel the scheduled work day (within an hour of when he was supposed to arrive) a couple of times. 2) The walls that we chose a darker paint shade for do not look professionally painted- these walls show streaks from the roller. 3) The imperfections in the walls were not fixed well, despite being simple nail holes to be filled in and sanded. The patches are visible through the paint and in some instances, we had to fix these again on our own. 3) Once Matt was paid, it took a lot of effort and multiple reschedulings to bring him back to correct several issues in the work. In addition to the nail holes issues, the edging between the wall and the ceilings was not done well. The edging between two different paint colors was not done well. Matt had to repaint another entire wall in our house that was not a part of the initial work, because a different paint color had bled so much onto this wall. Unfortunately, that wall is now also streaky as it is a darker shade. We ended up fixing a number of issues on our own, because it was such a challenge to try to get these fixed by Skeleton Crew Painting. 4) Despite having drop cloths in the work area, there was paint splatter in a number of areas on our hardwood floors and some of the floors were damaged from the painter's ladders. There was also paint on a number of baseboards that we had to clean ourselves, along with the floors. We communicated some of these issues to Matt and he was apologetic for the experience we had with him, and offered to paint our other living room for free when he was wrapping up the job in December. I did not post a review of our experience with Skeleton Crew Painting until this time because I did not have a lot of positive things to say, and I understand how a negative review could impact a small company. But we paid Skeleton Crew Painting a large sum of money in good faith for a service and product that unfortunately did not meet the bare minimum standards. Further, when we tried to contact Matt recently to take him up on his offer to paint a room for free (with the hope of having a better experience), he did not bother responding to or following up with us. We do not recommend this company.

Matt did an excellent job of providing ideas for our gaming room and helped match the colors perfectly. He brought up the idea of black baseboards and doors which helped the look and feel of the room pop. Excellent service and cleanliness, would highly recommend to anyone.

We put new baseboards in our house. Matt sprayed the first 2 coats prior to install, and then finished the job on site once it was all installed by my carpenter. I had Matt fill all nail holes, paint final Coat and caulk all baseboard and trim. Matt was reliable, fast, excellent quality work and friendly. Matt was even willing to add a few extra projects that were not part of initial quote. I would highly recommend Skeleton crew painting.

Skeleton Crew Painting is an amazing company. You always deal with the owner Matt. The work is the best quality and the price are unbeatable. It was so good dealing with such an honest company that is fully committed to quality and client satisfaction. This is my go-to painting company for life.

Marc defines the word "professional." He's exacting in his work, on-time, efficient and flexible. "Amazing!" is how my wife describes his work. All his talent is equalled by Mar'c genial personality. The Canadian government spent $1.8 million to buy "Voice of Fire" [below]. Marc eagerly took up my challenge to create a mural on a bedroom wall. Entitled "Beige au Beige, Electrified" [below], it has a modest asking price of $5 million.

Skeleton crew painting were very professional and completed the job in a timely fashion, even considering our unpredictable Alberta weather. They were incredibly friendly and answered any questions or concerns our tenants had. They made sure to ask our tenants to move their property off of the decks or covered their property for them, to not get any paint on it. All in all they did a great job, they were extremely thorough and fixed any imperfections needed in the final walk through. A pleasure doing business with them.

I had the walls and ceiling painting on my main floor. Matt was professional, punctual and great to deal with. Any concerns I had were addressed immediately. He did a great job, and I will definitely be hiring him to paint the exterior of my home next.

Matt did a great job painting multiple areas of our house. The quality of work speaks for itself, and it was always done quickly with no mess left to clean up after. I have had Matt paint several areas of our house and have been happy with the work everytime.
