Dominic quoted on the job but ran into an unforeseeable problem. He took care of it at no extra cost. On the day he went to pick up quater round, I guess the MDF specified in our contract didn't met his standards so he used wood instead. Again at no extra cost, even though wood was more expensive. he recommended a great person to help with a deep clean after he finished on time.

Dominic was a dream to work with. I hired him in May to do a complete overhaul of my new bachelor condo unit in the Annex. The plan was to completely gut the apartment, replacing floors, painting walls, fixing the popcorn ceiling, completely redoing the bathroom and kitchen, electrical, plumbing etc. Dom did an incredible job on all fronts. I've never worked with a contractor before so I was very nervous about finding someone who could not only bring my vision to life, but also keep things within budget. Dominic was the most helpful and patient through every single step of the process (and it's really hard for me to make decisions!). He even came with me to help choose certain things that I didn't know how to choose, and he went above and beyond picking up items for me with other vendors. All of the work he did is perfect (and I don't use that word lightly). From the tile work in the bathroom and kitchen, to the gorgeous custom made live edge wood counter and custom storage/furniture for the balcony, every single corner of my new apartment is exactly as I wanted it to be. I appreciated Dominic's creativity, while also being able to advise me on what would work or not in the space. When I had specific ideas about what I wanted, that wouldn't be a good fit logistically, he'd suggest alternative options and work with me to find the right compromise. Dominic was focused and finished the job in a timely manner. He didn't take other work while he had my contract so there was no spreading his attention or delays. As budgets were updated, Dom always kept me in the loop with the updated invoices, and always showed me the receipts so there were no surprises. If there was a 6 star rating option I would give it! I highly recommend Dominic and his team to anyone looking for the best contractor anyone could ask for.

Blue Ladder completed work on time. Work was done meticulously and met customer needs and expectations. Happy with the new porch and the professional approach used by all employees.

We bought a new home and wanted to update and modernize it to make it our own. We hired a contractor to manage the project. He subcontracted the floors to Domenic and that's when we met him. He was hard working and devoted and worked long hours. Slowly our original contractor stopped showing up at the job site. The only person we saw working towards getting the job done was Domenic. As the move in date got closer we lost faith in the original contractor and decided to let him go and asked Domenic if he could complete the project. He saw we were in a bind and said yes. It was the BEST decision we could have made and wished we did it sooner. Within one hour of Domenic taking over, our home was bustling with trades people who had one goal and that was to get the renovations done before our move in date. Domenic stayed on top of everyone and everything and totally took the stress off. He managed to turn the most stressful situation into a positive one and we will be forever grateful to him. He is professional, honest and committed to getting the job done. No matter what situation arouse, Domenic always kept his cool. We were so impressed with Domenic and will not hesitate to not only hire him again for future projects, but also recommend him to family and friends. Anyone that hires Domenic will not regret it. Thank you for all you did for our family!

We needed a pro to rebuild our mudroom. After speaking with several contractors on Home Stars, we chose Blue Ladder because they were professional and very responsive. We went through the project specs and project cost with Domenic. He answered every question we had and worked with us to make sure that the cost fit within our budget, while achieving all the essential features that were important to us. The end result far exceeded our expectations. We didn't know our mudroom could look this good. I would hire Blue Ladder again and would absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs their project done with the highest quality, within budget and on time.

Domenic was quick, responsive and diligent with his work. Started work quickly and he adjusted on the fly as we discussed feedback on the end product. Overall, he was a good guy to work with and would recommend him for future jobs.

Domenic did an almost total reno of my 1300 sf condo. After getting 5 quotes I hired him on a gut feeling, and I dont regret it. Domenic was exceptionally hard working, and very responsive to what I asked for. He dealt with the complicated requirements of my condo board with patience. He told me an estimated finish time and I didnt believe him, because what contractors finish on time on such a big job? But he kept his word. He remediated any problems with grace and understanding. He helped me cut corners on the budget where it wouldnt affect the outcome, and generously did extra things for me so that the final product would be a good one. He takes a lot of pride in his work, and he should, because his work is great. I would not hesitate for a minute to recommend Domenic and Blue Ladder Home Improvements. After hearing from friends about their experiences with other contractors, I feel very lucky that I chose Blue Ladder. Best decision I ever made.

Domenic fixed a solarium leak and did some other repairs to the house. I am very pleased with his work.
