Domenic did an almost total reno of my 1300 sf condo. After getting 5 quotes I hired him on a gut feeling, and I dont regret it. Domenic was exceptionally hard working, and very responsive to what I asked for. He dealt with the complicated requirements of my condo board with patience. He told me an estimated finish time and I didnt believe him, because what contractors finish on time on such a big job? But he kept his word. He remediated any problems with grace and understanding. He helped me cut corners on the budget where it wouldnt affect the outcome, and generously did extra things for me so that the final product would be a good one. He takes a lot of pride in his work, and he should, because his work is great. I would not hesitate for a minute to recommend Domenic and Blue Ladder Home Improvements. After hearing from friends about their experiences with other contractors, I feel very lucky that I chose Blue Ladder. Best decision I ever made.

Domenic fixed a solarium leak and did some other repairs to the house. I am very pleased with his work.

Although my porch stairs were only 5 years old, some of the wood had started rotting. It was difficult to find someone who would be willing to do the job of repairing the stairs without completely ripping out the entire thing; so, I was really happy to find Blue Ladder Home Improvement. All the reviews talk about how great Domenic is and this is true - he and I had many discussions about what materials to use, measurements and design and I was very appreciative of the time he spent discussing the job. He was able to come the next day which was really great and he and his team member addressed the issue in a day. Some of the wood work required some additional puttying but other than that it was done professionally and quickly. I will consider calling Blue Ladder Home Improvements again for future projects.

Thank you Domenic and the Blue Ladder Home Improvement team for an outstanding job! We posted our project on Home Stars, looking for a creative solution to our leaky solarium. Not only did we have a broken pane on the top, the solarium had been leaking ever since before we bought the home. Due to the angle that the top was built on, water pooling at the bottom was inevitable. We were hoping to either miraculously fix the leaks or to cover it up in a cost-saving manner. Rebuilding it was not an option. Domenic called and came that day to take a look. He was super friendly and personable, and was able to come up with three great options. We ultimately went with covering it up over the existing frame, so we would never have to worry about leaks again. Domenic and his team worked so quickly, making sure we knew what was going on every step of the way. He checked to see if the shingles were the right shade and even found white liquid membrane, as per my request. We could not believe that they had put down the liquid membrane on the existing glass, the plywood, the shingles, and even capped it off at the bottom, all within a day! They obviously knew what they were doing, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We even had him give us a quote that day on changing our front door, and they came and did the project the very next day. It also looks great! We will definitely be giving Blue Ladder a call the next time we are looking for work, and if you have any projects that are a little obscure, or just a regular reno, Domenic is your guy. I needed to do bunch of small things around the house that would normally require all kinds of different trades: carpentry, drywall, electrical, plumbing. Domenic and Mike? are couple of guys who can do it all. I especially appreciated their professionalism and attention to detail. Homeowners will know, this is rare to find!

I was looking for a contractor to fix my fence boards and needed a new gate! Blue Ladder called and showed up the best day to complete all work above and beyond my expectations! I was very happy with the professional service that was provided!

After a decade in our home we finally saved enough to redo the tiny, tiny bathroom. The room needed to be stripped down to the stud work and rebuilt. Blue Ladder did all the work, it is clear that Dom (owner of company) puts his heart & soul into every job he takes on. His crew were wonderful, the framing and drywalling excellent (the straightest walls in our home) and the tiling (only subcontractor) pristine. I don't have a photo of what it started out as, but here is the deconstruction and reconstruction.
