I hired Patch Dudes to remove the popcorn ceiling from my entire house, covering about 1,700 square feet. The ceiling is now smooth, and we absolutely love the result.
The process began with Or, who came to review the project. He explained everything that would be done in detail and even provided a video of the process. We were impressed with how thoroughly they covered each room, even when working throughout the house, ensuring that dust didnt travel between spaces.
The work started on the scheduled date. Fabio, the project manager, arrived with the crew and walked us through the steps. He addressed all of our questions and concerns, and when I pointed out a few areas that worried me, he assured me they would be taken care of.
Luke and Gustavo began by laying down high-quality floor protection and 3M plastic in each room. Since we needed access to two or three rooms that werent part of the project, they installed zippered entryways, allowing us easy access while keeping dust out.
The team was fantastic and worked methodically. The quality of their work was outstanding. As promised, they brought in additional help during the week to ensure the project was completed within five days. They even patched a few extra areas that we added along the way.
In the hallway, a section of the ceiling was buckling. Without hesitation, they took it upon themselves to replace that part of the ceiling, ensuring everything was perfect. They added extra mud and paint to make it smooth and seamless.
The team went above and beyond, identifying issues on their own, explaining the situation, and fixing them. To top it off, they painted the upper part of the walls to give everything a polished, finished look.
