Steve and his team repaired one chimney and took down another chimney for us. During the quote, he explained exactly what was needed and what he planned to do. Great communication throughout the process, keeping us up to date with the progress. Their work was professional, efficient and complete. We are very happy with the quality of work and would definitely recommend them. They also cleaned up after finishing the project, which was really appreciated.

I had several concerning brick and masonry issues around my house and, for a while looked for someone to do a quality and proper job until I found Northern Building Services. Steve provided the inspection around the house and gave not only a fair, reasonable estimate but also explanations and further recommendations. Steve and the team came on-site on time and did an amazing quality job. Couldn't be happier and satisfied. They went above the expectations. His workmanship is excellent and the service is top quality! Steve was able to repair/replace a large amount of brick that was damaged on my home and it looks as good as new. Steve and his employees renovated the side of our brick house, and repaired our chimney when we first moved in. His attention to detail is excellent, and all work was done perfectly. The initial quote matched the final cost. We have used Northern for various other services, such as sweeping the fireplace, and roof work. Highly recommended!

I recently was in need of some emergency chimney repair along with some other masonry brick work. Over the years I have dealt with a number of contractors, Steve and his crew renewed my faith in professional contractors. There are still some out there. He showed up right away when contacted regarding my issue and provided me with a written estimate for the work. a. He started and completed the work when he said he would. b. He charged what me actually what I was quoted. c. When he was finished the site was as clean as when he arrived. I found Steve and his crew to be very courteous and professional.
