If youre thinking about using Qterra Property Management, I urge you to run in the other direction. My experience with Qterra Property Management has been an absolute disaster, and Im furious about how theyve handled things. It all started when Evita from Qterra Property Management reached out to me after I posted my rental property on Kijiji. She convinced me that Qterra Property Management had a tenant ready to go. I met with Eddy, the Tenant Placement Manager, who turned out to be the owner of the company. Everything seemed fine at first, and I decided to go with them. I handed over a set of keys to Qterra Property Management so they could install a lockbox and handle showings. I live too far from the property to be present during showings, so I trusted them to take care of it. Big mistake. Four days later, I visited my property only to find squatters inside! It was immediately clear that Qterra Property Management had not secured the property properly. They didnt bother scrambling the code on the lockbox, which meant unauthorized people could easily get in. The house was a complete messgarbage everywhere and mattress on the floor. I tried calling Qterra Property Management to fix this mess, but my calls were ignored. When I finally got through, their responses were evasive and unhelpful. To top it all off, when I tried to cancel my agreement with them, they hit me with a clause saying Id owe them a months rent because of their exclusivity period. Can you believe that? In short, my experience with Qterra Property Management has been infuriating. Their handling of the property was negligent, and their customer service was beyond terrible. If youre considering Qterra Property Management, save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. My experience clearly shows they are unreliable and unprofessional.
