    Stump Not Properly Reviewed

    I paid for the removal of a tree and stump removal. A few years later I was doing some renovation work and we discovered that the stump had not even been close to removed properly. The contract was to remove the stump down ten inches. Please look at the photo and judge for yourself whether this stump was properly removed. It sure does not look like they have removed it to ten inches to me. You be the judge. I called the company. Mike came out. Said I needed to pay him more money to remove the stump. He denied he had done anything wrong. Apparently when you contract to remove a stump with them you are not really contracting to remove the stump. I would be happy to amend this review if the company would come out and honor the deal we had. Picture of stump and invoice attached.

    We were hired 4 years ago to grind the stump. Stump removal is standard in all professional tree services. A machine grinds the stump down to wood chips creating a hole, the resulting wood chips fill the hole, grass grows on top. Below the roots rot. This is a picture of construction that exposed roots four years after the stump was removed. These roots are also several meters from where the stump was removed on the other side of the fence. ( I wasn't able to post a picture) Hundreds of roots travel in every direction for meters, no professional tree service would suggest there removal, nor would anyone want that. Not to mention it would take weeks and would cost thousands.

    Great Job - Tree Trimming

    Hired Mount Pleasant Tree to trim some branches above the house, and remove some deadwood. Mike (who provided the quote) was punctual and friendly. Their prices were very reasonable and fair. He took the time to explain in depth the condition of our trees and also to answer any questions we had. Their team was punctual on the day of service, friendly and professional. They did an excellent job with the work and also the clean up. You could tell these guys were well trained and professional. I will use this company again for any tree services in the future. I had a great experience with them and highly recommend them. From start to end they were great!

    Nothing but good things to say

    Had them come in to remove a massive tree that was far too close to the foundation. While I did all the work to get a permit prior to hiring I'm sure they would be able to help out for a cost. On the tree removal side of things, they came in and made short work of that massive tree in a fairly tight area without damaging the property or the garden around it. 20 years to grow and 20 min to remove it. Pricing is the best I have found and the guys were great. Would hire again without question.

    Trim Large Maple

    Mike and his Team were just great. The quote was prompt and competitive. The work was carried out within 10 days of acceptance of the quote. The Team were careful with my outdoor furniture and worked efficiently to trim, clear and chip the branches with little interruption to my day.

    Tree pruning

    Company and Mike responded quickly and provided an estimate after an on-site visit. It was for pruning a large maple tree and trim some bushes in the back and front yard. He was clear in explaining to job to be done. Arrived on time as scheduled and was able to complete the work quickly. Clean up was done very well. A very thorough job.

    North York Tree Service

    The company, which operates several tree service operations in Toronto and limited areas to the west, did a great job trimming and cleaning up trees and branches that were hanging dangerously close to the roof. Mike was upfront and fair in his quotes, and provided several options, along with recommendations. The office staff was always pleasant and courteous to deal with. I also appreciate that they made sure to verify when any questions arose as to what I wanted to get done. I know for a fact that others in the neighbourhood use and recommend their service, as well.

    Tree and Stump Removal

    Needed removal of 3 trees, and two cedars. Mike was awesome, work was done on time, on budget, and clean up was great. Respectful of our property and neighbours property. Great Job.

    Tree pruning and cutting

    They were the first to respond to my inquiry about tree service. Mike came out within a couple days from contacting them and we scheduled for the following weeks to complete cutting trees from the roof and pruning the backyard trees. Mike, I haven't heard the raccoons walking on the roof! We are also happy to have our backyard feel so much bigger. Thanks to you and your great team! Esther it was a pleasure draling with you also!

    Removed useless tree

    I hired Mount Pleasant Tree Service to take down a usless tree in my front yard. They were took down very quickly, cleaned up the mess afterwards and were very professional. Great job!

    Great work and incredibly personable!

    They were absolutely amazing to hire. We had two trees to remove, one being extremely large and in a hard place. They organized all the permits, and had them both take down and everything cleaned up in about 2 days.
