Over a year ago we received a business card from A Touch of Design in the mail. It was stylish and intriguing enough that I tucked it away until June of 2008. Janice picked up the phone herself and was very accomodating from the start in arranging a consultation for primarily new paint colours. She arrived on time and had all her tools with her ready to provide us with an exceptional and professional consultation with fresh and exciting ideas. I knew we had met someone we could work with for years to come when Janice became inspired by the colours in our kitchen dishes to then select a new paint colour for kitchen and eating area!

When Janice arrived at my house I knew we were on the same wavelength. She was so easy to talk to. She listened to what I wanted and came up with some great advice and solutions. I was extremely happy with her service and look forward to contacting her again.

I believe in value for my money. I hired Janice to help me with paint colour selections and window treatments that would tie in with my open concept main floor area. I could only afford to paint the main floor once so wanted to ensure the colours would all blend. In the two hours I spent with Janice she provided me not only a colour chart and suggestions for window treatments but in addition gave me all sorts of ideas to accessorize the rooms. I proceeded with painting two of the rooms and changing the window treatments in both....and now have a plan to complete the remaining rooms when my budget will allow.

I wish all our business dealings were as simple and pleasurable as it was with Janice from A Touch of Design. Janice spent several hours with us in the office selecting the perfect colours for our mini-office renovation. She even gave us tips for wall art and quick and easy bathroom accessory improvements, without trying to upsell anything. Janice is very professional, asks a lot of questions to better understand what you are looking for, and is worth every penny of your investment...big or small!

We had used Janice on a previous renovation project to select our colour combinations including paint, floor coverings and new office furniture. The finished project far exceeded anything we would have accomplished on our own. As a result of working with Janice on this project we decided that for the next phase of renovations we would use Janice's services from start to finish. This included designing new office space, demolition and construction. Lighting,paint, floor coverings and furniture selection were all managed by Janice. Quality sub-contractors and materials were used to achieve professional results. Janice is now managing phase 3 of our renovations - obviously we have been very happy with how Janice has managed these projects and the end product!

Janice handled our project from design, coordination of lighting, electrical, paint & installation to adding the finishing touches. We were advised of any potential issues or conflicts well in advance and always had the feeling that Janice was in complete control and would handle everything - and she did! Janice always kept our personal taste & needs in mind. Our place looks fantastic - it is a joy to be in. We have received many positive comments by all our visitors. Janice was simply amazing to work with. We desperately needed to renovate our galley style kitchen which was challenging due to the configuration. Janice came into our home, really listened to what we liked and disliked, and what needed to be changed. She took photos for her reference and came up with a series of options for us to consider. She took everything we said into consideration and walked us through the rationale behind each of her designs. We are thrilled with the new look and excellent use of our limited space.
