We recently had our washroom renovated and overall had a positive experience working with Rob. The work was done neatly and with attention to detail. His pricing was reasonable — not the lowest quote we received, but fair for the scope and quality of work. We appreciated that he does the work himself and takes time to explain things - these helped build trust. He was knowledgeable, transparent, and straightforward in his communication. He kept us updated throughout. Right after the reno, an underlying plumbing stack issue came to light. While it wasn’t caused by the renovation itself, it surfaced when new fixtures were installed. Rob has taken ownership of addressing it and is actively working on the fix. We’ve heard stories of contractors avoiding responsibility once issues arise, and that hasn’t been the case here — he has remained responsive and engaged, which is something we expect from a quality professional who values integrity and honesty. Would recommend for your next reno.

Robbie did an excellent job renovating our main bathroom and powder bath. He was reliable, showed up everyday, gave guidance on the project, completed his work and ensured we were very happy with the final outcome. His prices were fair and I'd recommend using Robbie for any renovation project you're doing in your home.

The job that Robbie did on the shower tiles was excellent. The workmanship was precise, clean, and beautifully finished. His communication was also outstanding — he kept us informed at every step and made sure everything was done exactly as discussed. I’m extremely happy with the results and would highly recommend him.

Robbie did an incredible job realizing our vision for our new bathroom. The work required a full remodel including opening walls, moving vent, placing pot lights, and widening bathroom door. He ensured he checks our requested features and address all our concerns. Entire experience was positive albeit with a couple surprises which can be expected on big projects like these:  - while some creative decisions comes naturally given his vast experience, sometimes it can be a surprise. However, he took the time to walk us through his vision and the final results were beautiful! - we would also recommend to factor in job scale and consider inflation to help provide a better budget estimation.  Overall, Robbie was professional and extremely capable in terms of doing what needs to be done to bring our vision to life. There were lots of unknowns when opening walls and ceilings but he navigated around all of them with precision. We would like to thank Robbie for the incredible work!

Unfortunately we got scammed by this hack. Rob is con artist and lacks experience , his work on our bathroom was if he was learning how to do a bathroom for the first time. He never used the materials that were outlined in the contract. Rob used regular drywall instead of the mandatory Green board drywall. Nothing he did was to code like the electrical and plumping. No GFI used, no cover plates for junction boxes etc . His plumbing skills are laughable at best and clearly shows he has no idea what he's doing. Rob doesn't even own a level as the walls were out over an inch and nothing was square , not even the shower base was level. Rob's work was such a disaster we had to Hire another contractor to rip out everything he did and start over. Our new contractor couldn't believe what he found and said Rob has no business working on other peoples homes as we could have ended up with a potential fire and or major water damage to leaks.

We originally had Robbie by for a kitchen reno, but we ended up prioritizing the bathroom reno. Robbie's deep expertise, professionalism, and workmanship was top notch. He made several suggestions and introduced us to vendors and stores that he's worked with, which helped save money on the procurement of vanity, mirror, and other accessories. Our bathroom renovation was on time, on budget and Robbie's pricing and quoting was fair and transparent. We will definitely be using him for future projects!

Unfortunately due to Condo rules Robbie was unable to do our brand new basement washroom. Robbie was beyond professional from start to finish. If/when I need any work done on my house Robbie will be the only one I would call. Thanks so much for understanding Robbie!!!

Working Robbie/Raakss Reno was an exceptionally positive experience! From the initial call with Robbie through project completion and post-project support, his communication was clear and his expertise and quality of work were great. Our project included a full renovation of our primary bathroom, including installation of a steam room. Robbie completed the project in scope, on time, and on budget. He was extremely professional and positive throughout, and was very clean/tidy. His support/advice without question led us to a better bathroom than we had initially imagined. Robbie came highly recommended when I did my initial search for a local contractor...and he did not disappoint! For all stages of the reno (design, construction & after sales customer service), Robbie was amazing in every aspect. I am very happy with the work he did and will definitely be using him again in the future and I encourage those reading this review to do so too!

Robbie was great from day 1! He is very friendly and willing to accommodate special requests and budgetary restrictions, while still providing high quality services. We had our kitchen and bathroom upgraded and they are beautiful now! He did the job in a very reasonable/quick time frame, so we werent living in the mess of a reno for very long at all! Would highly recommend Robbie and RAAKSS Reno for your home reno needs!
