The contractor was polite & generally competent, but I'm not sure he had much experience with epoxy floors. He insisted on getting paid $2K upfront for a $3K job, then wanted full payment within hrs of leaving my house, which both rubbed me the wrong way for a small 2-day job. I wasn't happy with the quality of the finishing work & refused to pay him the balance. He came back & acknowledged his helper didn't do it properly & agreed to redo it. Unfortunately, the temps plummeted in the 1.5 weeks since he first started, so he couldn't complete the area by my garage door. He says he'll come back in spring to complete it, so we'll see. Overall, I'm happy with the floor, however it's not complete & I'll have to do some touchups on my own (which I shouldn't have to do). His repeated requests for money didn't sit well with me & he didn't quality check the work before insisting on final payment. He seemed like a good guy, so I hope he adapts his approach & has success in the future.
