Not worth the money

I paid for the "Shell" basement finish. (Did not include Trim/Baseboards, paint, Floors and Doors)

Pros:Employees are nice
Cons:They left 1 window unfinished They did not mud over all screws, some screws can be seen even after baseboards were added.Contractors did not come with all the tools needed for the job and still have not finished the work (Electricians).
The mudding went over light switch covers which need to be cleaned (Why would you mud with light switch covers still on?), there were still gaps in the wall between the light covers that were not mudded correctly or accurately.
They drilled a hole through one of my exterior camera cables that was run through my basement and have yet to offer a solution to fix it.They would have contractors come at random times (Not on the schedule) to install things that have already been installed (like facets). They give you a schedule on an app that they do not stick to. My schedule said there would be work being done over the weekend and my wife and I canceled all plans to stay home and nobody showed up.
The bulkheads in the basement are random and not continuous (more of a personal preference).
They sealed off one of my exterior water shut off valves (1 of 2), the one they didn’t seal off they put in such an awkward place no access panel can be purchased to cover the hole. They cut holes so big in my drywall vents that the covers don’t fit and fall out. The guys who installed the bathroom used silicone around the sink that can’t be painted. So even after I painted you can see unpainted drywall through that silicone… very annoying. The holes cut in the ceiling for the potlights were cut too large and with the pot lights installed you could see up into the ceiling through the drywall (outside the pot light 1-2 cm) which I had to fix.
Overall my original thoughts on this company were good. I felt the work I paid for would be solid and high quality as they 'assured' me it would be top notch. The communication at first was great and once they got the final payment it was nothing but dragging and half assed work. This is not professional work, this is amateur at best. When I spoke to the contractors regarding the work it was common to hear “I am not being given the time to do better”. These guys are rushing their employees to “finish” a job  and even when they know more needs to be done they are content to say “no don't fix it, move to the next job” rather than do the job right to begin with.
Attention to detail is lacking and I feel like the reviews on Google are not accurate to the work I received.
My neighbour also had his basement done and after I showed him all the good communication and some of the work at the beginning of my reno, he decided to do the same and have 'Assured' do his basement as well and his experience has been worse than mine!
I do not recommend this company. They are taking on too much work at once and have sacrificed their “quality” if it ever existed to begin with.
