Job completed with very nice trades people. Very thoughtful, polite and always cleaned up after themselves. Owner is very nice and wants you to be very happy with the work.

Basement reno

Basement Renovation review in Calgary

I hired Kay2 contracting to do a complete basement Reno. Bathroom, bedroom and living room. 80% good job. Ball got dropped with the bathroom. Poor plumbing job, shower doors don't fit properly due to walls not being plumb. Terrible tile work in shower area
Framing failed in early stages for small things. One being coming down the stairs was too low. Jean, the site manager at the time said no problem that will be changed. I said that I needed to get a queen size mattress and box spring down there. His reply.... Don't worry it will be fixed........ Everything done, ready to move in.....not only does the box spring not fit, it's off a Lot! Is it my job to measure everything that gets done? Had to go buy split box springs!
Owner is very nice and tried to fix all the problems that were mainly caused by a poor site manager but I had enough and am fixing the small stuff myself.
