Window Install

The window had to be re-installed, the original install was not done correctly. After 11 months my partner is finally smiling. I must say that Tony and Eddy did the best job ever. David did come through on his promise, to have it done correctly.

Approximate cost of services:
$6,500.00

Company Response

Joanna I appreciate your review but don't really have any recall of any issues other than 1 window which was replaced without any issue so I'm confused by the 1 out of 10 ?

Poor Window Install

Update May 30
It is still ongoing. 3 Windows installed June 1, 2018 - all incorrectly,
The crew had no experience with installing windows, they did say they were landscapers. They arrived in flip flops and a messy trailer, unloaded most of it onto our driveway and the neighbors driveway, just to get the windows out, they also did not have the tools necessary to do the job.
They took out all 3 windows, and broke the glass on the bay window, left the mess all over the grass and were still working in flip flops, so the owner was called and he sent out the crew chief, who was rude and arrogant and said his team is doing a great job and not to worry about it. The 2 windows installed upstairs were installed backwards, and the crew said they were fine when it was pointed out to them; finally to realize that in fact it was wrong. My boyfriend also saw the installer break a part of the window, but he said it came that way. The bay window is the worst, it has been a 7 month battle, a horrible experience, it has devastated my boyfriend for he is a contractor as well and he would never do this to any homeowner. I really wrote a rant but it was denied by home stars, so now all I can say is Mickey in the office was awesome and Richard did a great job on the capping, however the window is not installed correctly as per the manufacturer, at this point we have given up on them fixing it. Not to mention the mess they left, the damage done to the window and also our property. They crew chief was the meanest cruelest person I have met in a long time. The owner was ok, but was not interested in fixing the issues, our last text was Oct 31, 2018 - his reply was soon. Reached out again Feb 13, 2019, Mr Snell advised he will work out a date for his lead technician and the lead technician from the manufacturer to come out and look at our windows again. A glimmer of hope perhaps. Maybe I can open my windows this summer, or turn on the Ac when needed. Finally May 1, 2019 - Our Bow window was finally re-installed. I must say that Tony and Eddy did the best job ever. The window had to be re-installed and after 11 months my partner is finally smiling. However just waiting for some repairs to be done.
