Question 2

What happens if gutters are not cleaned regularly?

Accepted Answer

Clogged gutters can lead to water overflow, foundation issues, roof damage, and ice dams during colder months.

Question 3

Can gutter cleaning pros clean downspouts as well?

Accepted Answer

Yes, many gutter cleaning services include clearing and flushing downspouts to ensure proper drainage. Because blockages often form inside downspouts, cleaning them helps prevent overflow, leaks, and water pooling around your home’s foundation.

Question 4

Do I need to be home during gutter cleaning?

Accepted Answer

In most cases, you do not need to be home as long as the contractor has safe access to the gutters. It can be helpful to be available by phone in case the pro identifies any damage or issues that need your approval before proceeding.
