WARNING!!!DO NOT HIRE THS COMPANY. Told me 6 to 7 days for part to repair stove, paid $333.00 for service call and took my credit card info and charged another $233.91 for half of cost of part. I am trapped!!!!! They told me 6 to 7 days and when I called back 6 days later to see where part is, they told me back ordered 4 to 6 weeks. I could have bought a new stove by then but now they have my credit card info and want 20% charge of part costing $414.00 and $30.00 for shipping to cancel order. Part hasn't even been shipped. Something smells very bad here, BEWARE!

This company has a unethical business practice. I called for same day tech to address problem with washing machine. Advised that there is a $79 visit charge that gets waived if any service or repair work is performed. Tech arrived on time. The tech checked a few things on the washer (control board, underneath checked the belts, checked the tub). The tech then said "The problem is that the machine needs a rotations system service". $285+tax, not including parts. They make you agree, sign, and pay upfront. Proceeded to watch the tech run 3 wash cycles and record on his phone. After 1hr the tech said the machine needs a part but because it's too old the parts are discontinued. This is like a mechanic saying that your car needs and engine service and drives your car around the block 3 times, only to tell you it can't be fixed. Well why didn't you tell me in the first place? Tech refused to refund at the time, saying I signed the agreement, called the company and they said the same thing. You signed and paid the agreement. DO NOT CALL THEM, CHOOSE A MORE TRANSPARENT AND ETHICAL COMPANY.

Our washer water would not drain after each use. We would have to manually remove the water using the tube. We contacted them to prevent water from staying in the washer. When the technician assessed it, he replaced the control board and proceeded to drain out the water just like we were doing then proceed to charge us $400+. This did not resolve the issue. As soon as he left we ran the washer only to have water not draining again. We call only to find out that another part is required costing $400 & we would have to pay 50% of it e-transfer. This is a waste of time and money. I would advise people to reach out to a different organization.

In few minutes gave a big amount quote to check wiring in control board.
Doesn't know the job.
Another company Technician cleared clogging and good now.
WASTED TIME AND MONEY.

I called them to fix my washing machine. It was making noises and would not wash the clothes. They told me it was going to cost $79.00. Then proceeded to charge me $295.00 and told me that I needed an additional part which would cost $527.00 plus labour. They are not professional and extremely rude. I then proceeded to contact the manager who was even worse. ***** if I have any advice for anyone thinking about using them. Please dont. You will be throwing your money away ****

Called to have a service call on a appliance. I arranged with tenants to be available in the time frame they requested. They showed up in the time they said they would but because i was at work and didnt answer the phone when they called, they left without knocking on the door for the tenants to answer. THEY CHARGED ME THE SERVICE CALL. KNOCK ON THE DOOR THATS WERE THE APPLIANCE IS!

1- 75 $ visit turned into 1000 $ repair
2- long time to bring the part and finally finished the repair after a week
3- if the technician would have told us that it is a 1000 dollar & one week job, we would buy a brand new and not wasting time & money and not suffering a week!

Stay away from this company. On Nov 18, 2024 I had reached out to Appliance Repair Crew to deal with a 2-year-old Whirlpool washing machine shutting off in mid-cycle issue at a rental property. The lady I spoke to quoted me $79+HST for initial diagnostic visit. She said once the technician diagnosed the issue, he will recommend the repair solution after the diagnose.

Series of Events:
1. On Nov 19, 2024, the technician arrived at the rental property around 6:10pm. He checked out the breaker panel and was able to switch the tripped breaker---the machine was able to turn on. Then the technician pressed some buttons on the washing machine. Then he called me to tell me that he has identified the "control board" issue of the washing machine and asked for $300+HST ($339). Since I already paid $79+HST, he asked me to e-transfer the remaining balance of $249.73 BEFORE he would start any work. I thought $300 was a bit high so I asked him how long it would take him to complete the repair; he said it would take 3o min to an hour.

I specifically asked him whether it was issue of the control board or a faulty breaker. He said it was the control board. I wasn't going to pay him to repair the control board when it was a faulty breaker (he ain't electrician). He said he will need to repair the control board. So I was under the assumption that he would replace some parts, and therefore the quote of $300+HST would make some sense with labour+parts.

2. I made the e-transfer payment of$249.73, so he started to his "repair work". All he did was press buttons to try to reset the washing machine. After resetting it, he ran a short cycle for about 15-20 min. During the short period, the washing machine didn't trip the breaker. Because he only ran 15-min or so, the washer didn't trip the breaker switch. So he left.

Note: He DID NOT replace any parts (he didn't even take down the front cover to see what's wrong with the control panel).

3. Later, my tenant ran a full cycle around 7pm-ish and it tripped the breaker (again). He then ran several times and the breaker was tripped every single time in about 20-min of running.

So stay away from this company. I fell for their pressure tactic when they said I had to pay FIRST before they would do any work--not knowing if they would even replace any parts of the machine. If I had known that technician would just switch on the tripped breaker and reset the washer, I would NEVER pay $300+HST. It's simply a joke. This technician clearly didn't (or couldn't) identify the reason as to why machine would shut off mid-cycle. Since he never replaced or repaired the control board, he wouldn't have been able to rule out the possible issue with a faulty breaker.

Do not use this company!! I basically handed over $333.35 to them to do nothing. They were to repair my broken washing machine that stopped spinning. He said he found the problem. But it doesnt work. If these are licensed technicians then I would expect them to be able to diagnose the issue. After reading quite a few reviews, it appears this is standard for them.
This was not the company I originally wanted but someone else booked on my behalf and called a different number. In these tough economic times, it is outrageous that they rip you off!!!! So annoyed.

I called appliance crew for my dryer repair. I was quoted $79 for diagnosis. A guy named Harsh came to over to do the diagnosis. He told me he needs to service the board and heating element and quoted 295 to do that. And took money upfront. He dismantled the whole thing and said he needed to replace the heating element and demanded 167 additional. I was not willing to go forward at that time. He refused to return 295 at that time. He put me in a difficult situation and forced me go ahead with the repair at 100 additional dollars. This has left a bad taste I will not be using their service again ever.
