Niall did a great job of fixing my DIY project that had gone terribly wrong. I had purchased a cheap wooden table and glued a nice stone top to the table. Unfortunately, the table was not able to handle the weight of the stone countertop and was very unstable. I called Niall and he quickly came to provide a very reasonable estimate to build a custom table that could withstand the weight of the countertop. Niall did the work efficiently and professionally. Needless to say, I am quite happy with the results. The table looks great and it is extremely sturdy!

I hired Niall and the Carpentry at its Best team to renovate a bathroom and laundry room. Niall made recommendations of various price points to assist us in purchasing what was needed to complete the project, and the work was completed on time and on budget. This is the second project we have done with Niall and we are always impressed at the quality of the work done by Billy, Steve and the whole crew. I recommend Carpentry at its Best for your home renovation project.

Niall and his team was so easy to work with! This was our second job and he's quickly become our go-to. He is honest, thorough, fair and above all, a true pro. They re-did our front porch, back deck and took care of some odds and ends indoors. There were serious challenges to installing the deck correctly - mainly from all the tree roots below grade, but that didn't impact schedule, cost or quality. They took everything in stride and were true pros. If you're looking for someone to do good with, communicate well and price reasonably, Niall is your contractor. He's on speed dial for our next project.

A true craftsman! Niall and his team were excellent as was the work done. They were punctual, meet all timelines, kept a clean work area, and were true gems to work with. Niall and his team removed and installed laminate flooring in my living room, fixed some trim around the window and door, put in a new fence post and built a handrail for my deck. Niall even fixed my stubborn door handle that sticks which has been a nuisance for a long time. He fixed it in a matter of minutes - absolutely incredible! Superb job!

We had bought some DIY bookshelves with the idea to make them look custom. We phoned Niall after reading his great Homestars reviews. Niall came to our home and after making plans with him to move forward we were were introduced to Billy, who came by to reconfirm the specs and customize the bookshelves with Andrew. They did a beautiful job and the bookshelves look amazing - better than the inspiration photo that I had pulled from a magazine! Billy also hung a door and made us a lovely chalkboard. It was easy communicating with Niall and I would highly recommend his team who were easy to have working in our home. (I tried feeding them but they were always too busy working!) Thank you, gentlemen!

I hired Niall and his team to build a wall of built in bookshelves with media centre (tv mount and space for devices). Niall came to see our space promptly, reviewed my initial designs and provided very useful suggestions for how to improve the look, finish, etc. He provided alternative quotes for building custom cabinets or installing pre-fab cabinets. His team was fast and efficient as well as polite and friendly. The build took 3 days and the team in our living room was very respectful of our space. The painting took a further 3 days and the painter was diligent and ensured the work area was completely separated and enclosed from the rest of the space. Niall was responsive by telephone and email. Highly recommended.

We previously hired Niall and his crew to finish the window and baseboard trim in 3 bedrooms. We asked Niall to build us a custom office complete with desk, shelves, cabinets and fold-down-bed. Niall was honest enough to say that he wouldn't be able to complete the job in our timeframe. Instead, he connected us to a colleague who completed the work. Throughout, Niall was in constant communication to ensure that the work was completed to our satisfaction. We're thrilled with our office/guest room. Thanks Niall!

Niall and crew did a great job rebuilding our front porch and walkway, with the end result being even better than expected. Niall has great attention to detail, and provided some great recommendations. Pricing was fair, communications were good, and the job was completed in a timely manner. Niall and his team built us a beautiful new porch, railing, steps, exterior columns, and trim around our front door. He is beyond knowledgeable about trim work and was a great resource to discuss the approach to our job. He worked very quickly and completed the job on time and budget. Niall and Steve exceeding our expectations with their work. They installed filler between the tops of our new kitchen cabinets and the ceiling then added crown moulding. The ceiling was a little uneven so they added caulking to fill in any gaps. We are extremely happy with the style of moulding suggested by Niall, and with the end result. It adds a perfect finishing touch to the new kitchen. Niall communicated clearly with us about the project, the work was done on time, and they cleaned up thoroughly. We highly recommend Niall.
