Service was superb; could not ask for more
“Truck arrived on schedule. Both men were exceptional in their approach to customer service. They also quickly finished the work, did a cleanup, and left in a very short period of time. I was very pleased with the service provided, and would recommend this company to anyone.”

1 800 GOT JUNK
“I am very pleased with the services 1 800 GOT JUNK provided. Shane and Eric came to my house at the time they scheduled, provided a quote and removed everything that I wanted them to take in my basement. I was so happy that they took the time to ensure that there was no damage while they were lifting heavy items, including an old dresser that was HUGE! I would definitely call 1 800 GOT JUNK again, the truck team makes everything so easy!!”

Great service, a tad on the pricey side
“A few years ago we used Got Junk and were really happy, since then, however, we have found their prices to be creeping up and up and we find them expensive now. Got Junk is professional, courteous and the two times I've used them at my house and dozen or so at work I've always been very satisfied. I was able to use a $10 coupon offered on their Web site every tie I've used them, but the last time I used them it was expensive, even with the coupon.”

Far too expensive
“Although they did accommodate us last minute on a Saturday--I was very impressed by their telephone order takers--this place is over-the-moon expensive. All they are there to do is take away a bunch of trash. I didn't think I had all that much. They said it would take between a quarter and half a truck, and of course it came out to a half at the end. The problem was, it was hard to tell how much truck my junk filled since there was already a load of junk in there from the last pick-up. When they showed me the truck, it was like ordering bad fast food--you think you've been given a massive portion until you realize the thin layer of meat sits on a mountain of rice. To add insult, they almost took away a number of items that weren't junk -- my son's stroller cover, a rake, a good tarp -- against my specific instructions to take only the rubbish. All that for $400. I was disappointed and will never use the service again. ”

Our promise to our clients is to meet and exceed their expectations by living up to our four Quality Focus Areas: 1) On-Time Service; 2) Clean Shiny Trucks; 3) Friendly Professional Truck Teams; and 4) Up Front Rates. >From your review it appears we were on-time with short notice and also provided you with up front rates. Complete transparency with our volume based pricing is a key ingredient to the value of our service. It appears that the Truck Team did give you a range of volume rates from a quarter of a truck ($228) to half a truck ($368), and that the final price did come within the approved range. The loading of JUNK does not occur until we receive an okay from the client. The purpose of our ‘Up Front Rates’ policy is to ensure that each client has the opportunity do decide if the service provides the value that they are looking for BEFORE we begin the job. Looking into the bin of our Truck upon completion is meant to confirm the volume of items taken and to prevent any items from being removed by mistake. I am sorry that some items were loaded by mistake, but I am glad that the bin inspection prevented the items from being taken away. It is our mandate to leave every client an enthusiastic advocate of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? “Hello, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mike & Bill for doing such a wonderful job for me today (Woodbridge, Ontario). I had a very stressful situation and they were kind, courteous, punctual, very informative and really seemed to have fun in the process. I had 2 full truck loads and they did it all in the same day. “We had a garage full of stuff that was not being used and was destined for recycling or junking or whatever. 1-800-Got- Junk backed up one of their trucks and removed everything - and cleaned up behind themselves! Apart from the great service and courteous and friendly employees, I appreciated that they would recycle as much as possible, rather than simply dumping it in the nearest landfill. I would, indeed I already have, recommended this company to friends and family.”

“We needed to quickly de-clutter a home we inherited to get it ready for renovations and eventually to move in. It involved heavy items like appliances and bulky furniture that were too much for my husband and I to handle on our own. Getting them to the curbside for the regular garbage pick-ups was not an option. Plus you can only put out so much each garbage day and only every two weeks. For us time was of the essence. Booking online was convenient and the truck arrival was punctual. Two young men came to the rescue, assessed our job on site, gave us our cost list dependant on how big a truckload we would need and promptly started loading. They say they will do the removal for you, for example, emptying cupboards. I chose to have some of it already designated in areas just to be sure I remembered everything I wanted them to take although I did leave some of the higher cupboards for them. It doesn't hurt to re-check what you think are already empty compartments because I did forget to get them to take some pots and pans that I forgot to tell them about. Not a big deal considering how much they did take and also not their fault. The online booking asks you to estimate how long you think your job will take. Do not worry about this if you think you are not sure. I thought I was way off on my estimate of 1.5 hours but they worked so efficiently I was amazed at how much they were able to accomplish in that time. When I mentioned to them the time choosing question I was asked on line they told me not to be too concerned about it as it is used more as a general guideline. They book their jobs with this in mind. We're now close to moving in to our newly renovated home at which point we will now have to deal with selling our existing home. Something tells me I will be calling to arrange for another clear-out in the near future. And yes I will be gladly calling 1-800-GET JUNK again. ”

“I've used them twice for the same property. The first time I called it was urgent to get the stuff removed that day. I called a student junk removal service who assured me they could do it and when the guys showed up they refused to do it that day. 1-800-GOT-JUNK sent a truck that day and the men removed it all (atruck load) in record time without complaint.”

“I had furniture including a sofa bed, table and cabinet to be removed and disposed of. 1 800 GOT JUNK was easy to book,and provided a reasonable 2 hour service window. The two men who came to remove the furniture were pleasant and courteous, and removed the furniture quickly. I would use them again. I would recommend them.”

“I had a terrible basement flood that ruined furniture, carpet, books, even drywall. It was a mess. 1-800-GOT-JUNK took everything away without complaint. I wouldn't have touched the stuff with a 10 foot pole, but these guys worked so quickly I couldn't believe it. The service was amazing, and easily worth what I paid. I recommend them to anyone.”
