floors on main floor Beach flooring did an excellent job in our home. They provided an estimate after looking through our home and it was very reasonable compared to other estimates we received. They were very flexible setting a time and date to do the job and we where able to have the floor installed within 2 days or estimate. very profesional work and we love the floor.

Hardwood installation Anyone considering hiring Beach Hardwood Flooring for hardwood installation beware of very poor qaulity of workmanship and customer service. We hired Beach Hardwood to refinish old hardwood in our house. We were reasonably happy with the quality of the work and had confidence in the this company's skills and knowledge. We asked Beach Hardwood to install new hardwood in one bedroom, including three steps and this turned out to be a complete mess and a very stressful disappointment for us. The steps leading into the bedroom now look like a bad puzzle and are the first thing you notice when entering the room. The job on the steps was obviously carelessly performed and we were left in the state of shock over complete disrespect for our property and investment. The stains from the wood dough covering the nails were left all over the steps and my husband had to sand the spots at least three times to fade them. The stains are still very visible but we cannot sand them more without damaging the wood.

Being quite inexperienced in dealing with contractors and having trust in Beach Hardwood we paid the full amount as agreed. When we tried to dsicuss the possiblity of correcting the job, the owner bluntly told us that it could not have been done better and our best solution was using DAP on all gaps....some pictures to follow....

Flooring Restoration I was exceptionally impressed with the work that Peter and Bill did on my hardwood floors. They restored them and modernized them at the same time by staining them a lovely cinnamon colour. They were extremely professional and I felt completely confident with them from my initial meeting with Peter. I highly recommend Beach Hardwood Flooring and plan on calling them back in the future to install hardwood in my bedrooms.

"We consulted several so called "experts" with regards to the refinishing of our entire main floor. First of all some of the companies we called never showed up to give us a quote nor did they call to let us know. One of the other companies wanted an outrageous amount of money to refinish the floor as he said that our dog had practically damaged them beyond repair. Another company said they couldn't be restored and that we would have to replace everything. We looked on Homestars and found Beach Hardwood and decided to try one more Company. Well, what a refreshing experience! Peter promptly returned our call, showed up on time and proceeded to go over all of our options. He told us that the floors could be restored and quoted what we considered a very fair price. He dropped our quote off to us within a day and provided a sheet of references for us to research. Of course we chose Beach Hardwood hands-down. Peter reconfirmed our start date a couple of days prior to commencing. He and Bill showed up on time, restored our floors beautifully, finished on time and cleaned up after . They did all the work themselves - they did not sub-contract the work out. My husband and I were so happy with the result we have already recommended them to a few friends who were very impressed when they saw our floors. I would use them again in a heartbeat!!!

The work has been exceptional with unbelievable results. I've had old floors refinished, stairs refinished, old floors replaced with new (finished) hardwood, unfinished floors and stairs installed and also hardwood floors buffed. They are reliable, professional, the job always gets done on time, the price is the best in the city and the workmanship is the best on the planet. They take pride in their business, are extremely knowledgeable and great advisors when it comes to looking at options and making decisions. They are truthful and very helpful. My house would be worth half it's value if it were not for this fabulous duo doing their magic. I have referred them to many friends who have been extremely pleased.
My sympathies if you don't choose Beach Hardwood Flooring.

Flooring After many years of living with carpeting, my husband and I decided it was time for a change.....hardwood flooring. We didn't know where to go for advice, and was concerned about the cost. After much research through advertising and word-of-mouth decided to give Beach Hardwood a call. To make a long story short, Peter was most helpful in showing us what had to be done. His timing was prompt, pricing was reasonable, and the results are fantastic. I would definitely recommend Beach Hardwood to anyone, whether it be a small job, or large one.

Flooring Refinishing and Installation I own a century home in the Beach. When I purchased the home the floors were in horrible condition. The main floor had been covered in filthy carpet. When Peter (the owner) came to my house he lifted the carpet and we discovered that the floor was scratched, stained and had some plywood thrown in in several spots. I was certain that we would have to replace the entire floor. Peter assured me that his partner Bill could restore the floor to it's former glory and that he could patch the plywood spots. We also needed him to install unfinished flooring upstairs and to try and match the original flooring on the main floor in order to try and maintain the integrity of the home's original design. We were a bit skeptical and very hopeful that we would be satisfied with the results. Peter called us a few days before he was due to start just to confirm his arrival time. We were very impressed as our experience with tradespeople has been that they are usually unprofessional. Peter and Bill arrived exactly when they said they would and then proceeded to blow us away with the magic they worked on our floors. After they sanded, patched, stained and coated the main floor we were unable to tell where the patches were. The floor looked like new and the old blended seamlessly with the new. They installed unfinished hardwood upstairs and matched the stain to the main floor. I almost cried when they were finished because I could not believe my eyes. They fully restored the lustrous beauty to the floors and gave our century home a new life. I highly recommend Beach Hardwood Flooring but only if you want the best in the business!

Repair and refinish hardwood floors We removed the carpeting from the 2nd floor of a house we were preparing to sell, exposing the old hardwood floor. It had always been covered but the area had been made open plan so there were areas where walls used to be that didn't have proper flooring, just plywood. Beach Hardwood installed new hardwood flooring in these areas to match as closely as possible to the original floor, sanded it all down and finished it beautifully. They also varnished an oak hardwood floor on the first floor and managed to re-stain an area that had been bleached by something so that it matched the rest of the floor. The result was a lovely sateen sort of finish.

Would definitely recommend and would use them again.

hardwood floor refinishing Our floors are original to the house- 1920s and had been covered by carpets for many years. Wood was heavily discolored and the guys at beaches hardwood did an excellent job of sanding and refinishing them. They also replaced some of the damaged strips.
