Kitchen sink plumbing was on borrowed time with obvious signs of corrosion so we wanted to get the ball rolling on fixing the issues before they got worse! Chris from Drain Works came by our condo to check out the situation and he immediately informed us that the existing plumbing wasn't up to code due to a lack of fire safety rating and this was clearly for our benefit and not a sales tactic.
A quote for the work was given on the spot and it was less than I expected based on quotes sought for the same job from other plumbers when I looked into it pre-Covid so that's always a bonus, and he even pointed out that the existing hot water supply line for the dishwasher (installed but not hooked up) was a specific type of piping (Wirsbo) which required a specialist tool to work with which he didn't have...again, informative and helpful without being a pushy salesman, but instead an informative tradesman!
He offered information on a plumber who dealt with Wirsbo and also offered a solution on how to work with the existing plumbing in order to achieve the desired goal of eventually hooking up the dishwasher. Although unplanned, the additional work was quoted on the spot again and once agreed he got straight to it without any issues.
Overall, Chris was able to kill two birds with one stone while offering helpful and useful information along the way while completing the jobs in a quick, efficient and professional manner.
More than happy with the work being done and wouldn't hesitate to call Drain Works again for future plumbing jobs.
