We're a family run business. We paint, apply wallpaper and wallcoverings and render faux finishes. We have decades of experience in residential and office settings and other commercial areas.
We dislike chaotic work areas and always keep wherever we're working in a clean and tidy state. It eases the stress on the client and enables life to go on while the decorating is being done. It also makes it easier to do our job.
We always keep in contact with the client from the time the job is sold until it's done. We find that good communication is always appreciated and will prevent any misunderstandings and it will open the door to any additional work or changes in the work that client would like to have done.
| Products | We recommend and use a number of paints with Benjamin Moore being our first choice. We also use Para, Glidden, Sherwin Williams often and we're familiar with Farrow & Ball, Ralph Lauren and C2. We tend to pick the product that will best serve our customer's needs both in the practical sense of wear and tear and the artistic sense of colour, brightness and the correct amount of gloss for the area being painted. We also familiar with the various brands of stains and varnishes such as Minwax, Varathane and others. In our faux finishes we use Moore's latex glaze most often for the ease of application and its consistency with the colour mixed with the glaze. In wallcovering applications we study all the manufacturer's recommendations and use the appropriate wall sizes and pastes. |

| Services | We primarily paint with brush and roller both interiors and exteriors. We apply wallcoverings of all kinds. We apply stains and varnishes. We render faux finishes and custom stencils or stripe effects. We will do minor carpentry repairs such as repairing or replacing a piece of door or window trim. We can also recommend tradesmen for other work such as electrical. |

Milworks Does Excellent Work
“Milworks has done many different wall repair and paint projects for me. The workmen always arrive on schedule, the quality of the work is excellent and the workmen take care to respect my home while they are working there. The company takes pride in doing good work. Management will work with you to get you exactly what you want. I always felt like a valued client rather than a "job" working with Mil. Projects always came in on budget. ”

Great Painters - Punctual, Thorough, Reasonably Priced
“We got three or four estimates and Milworks wasn't the cheapest, but Mil so obviously knew what he was talking about when he toured the house that he scored big points before they even started working. We were going with a clay-based paint and he already knew all about the properties of these types of paint. A couple of the other estimates were just so ridiculously low that I thought we'd end up in trouble when they realized they'd underbid and started rushing and botching the job. Milworks' estimate was the second-highest (but much lower than the highest bid), but as I said I was impressed by his knowledge so we went with them. Are we ever glad we did. They arrived on time every day and finished when they said they would. They worked solidly throughout the day, carefully protected our furniture and banisters from stray paint, meticulously handled corners and moulding, were quiet as mice (e.g., no blaring ghetto blasters playing as they worked) and were thoroughly pleasant people to have around as well! We even had a nice lunch together one day (I work at home). I've already recommended them to some of our neighbours and would have them here again in a minute. Too bad they've already painted the whole house!”
