A Team Appliance Repair

Our LG washing machine broke ... would not spin. The A Team came same day April 22/24 and assessed ... needs new motor assembly - $785.73 (have to pay by etransfer or interact) plus $400 balance upon completion. April 30/2024 second tech Raji comes by to say that it is not the motor but the Inner Drum Assembly costing an additional $165.57 = $932.26. Again paid by interact.
We wait 4+ weeks and the 2 repairmen come June 3/2024 to install the inner drum kit. I made a point of watching them work and when the job was completed watch them test. The machine still did not spin and then Raji torqued the bolt on to the end of the drum housing ...completely shearing it. Now Raji said I needed a rear drum assembly $895.62 plus tax. I told them to leave and at least saved myself from an addition $400. ... disappointed there are companies out there taking advantage of their customers.

Telephone operator said that they take Cash and Debit only. Repair team respective said I have to pay by e-transfer before he starts the work. I am a Senior who has never done a e- transfer before. He said he would help me with that and ran me through the process. After about half an hour he put back the panel and said that there are parts to be purchased a total of $ 495.00 more. I should purchase them and call so that he could replace it and left. I feel strongly that I was not told the truth. I was also told that that I would not have to pay the $ 80.00. lf I agreed to go ahead with the service. The service man said No.. Not only was I forced to make a e- transfer but I lost my money. I would advise that you think twice before you deal with this Company.

We had the A-team in to fix our washing machine and while we initially had a very positive experience with their technician, we soon learned (one month and seven days later) that information we were given by that technician was not honoured by the company. We originally wanted to purchase a new washing machine, but were convinced by this technician to allow their repair (and were so in no small part by the promises we have since learned were false). Customer service Maria was extremely unhelpful, refused to allow us to speak to the technician, stating that he was out of the country. I was told that it would be a new problem (even though it was not). The company offered us a minor discount on having a technician come out for a new problem, however anything related to what they find would be a new cost to us. They refused to refund us. They refused acknowledge the problem on their end. I asked to speak to someone above the agent to make a complaint, and was told that the same service agent I was speaking with was the manager. She took my complaint and said there would be no follow up because she was the customer service manager. I asked for her supervisor or to speak with someone above, even the owner of the company and was told unequivocally they would not provide me with that contact. I gave my complaint, and when I was speaking with Maria finishing up, I could clearly hear someone in the background mocking our conversation. I have never in my life experienced such level of unprofessionalism. Completely disappointed with this company and the way this problem has been mishandled. A simple solution could have been found by sending someone to assist on our original request, instead we are very unhappy customers.

I wish I could give this company 0 stars. Do not give this company your time or money!!! They came to fix our dryer and since we couldnt take the day off work, our son stayed at home to let the technician in. The technician quoted the entire job being $350. Without any updates on pricing or the work he was actually doing, he charged my son $665 for the repair at the end of the job. Completely took advantage of our son and us. He also took our old machine parts with him and apparently discarded them, so we have no idea what he actually did to our dryer. The technician and customer service is rude and the company is misleading and overcharges. We hope no one has to experience this.

This company is not legit
Don't pay the 80.00 find a reputable company. BUYER BEWARE.

Avoid this company. They'll take your money before fixing anything and won't give you any kind of support if the appliance is still broken after the technician is gone.

I called a Technician to fix my Fridge. They charged me $290 upfront (which raised a flag, but I didn't follow my instincts). The tech proceeded to do his thing and after just a few minutes said: "all done, the Control Board was reset and the fridge will be working fine in 5-6 hours".

The fridge is as broken as it was before the "repair", so I called them again and their customer service was horrible ... very rude lady over the phone, who refused to transfer me to a supervisor.

After a big argument over the phone I realized they just took my money and ran.

DO NOT use this company

Technician came to repair washer and dryer five year-old whirlpool appliances dryer needed a new bearings and washer needed new hot and cold valves about 1350 to repair both. Well, he was there had him look at another washer and dryer in our second laundry room and LG and Maytag very old. He told us he could repair both The washer in the dryer and it be $900. He analyzed the washer and said that it was the pump to drain that wasnt working working, and then he analyze the dryer and said the heater wasnt working And he could repair everything when he came back in about a week with the parts. Technician came back repaired the original washer dryer no issue repaired the original dryer no issue then repaired second washer and when I went to use it, it was draining, but the drum had an issue. Call them back and was told that your repair the drum would be an additional $900, and that the technician had told us this is a false statement. He never told us this. He never said anything about the drum when he was there replacing the pump I had asked him is there anything that could be done about a mouldy gasket and he said that would need to be replaced didnt mention the drum didnt say anything about the drum and his assessment .

The worst repair company you will ever come across. They dont know what to fix, and just change any part charge big money . Then you still have the broken appliance. Never return phone calls and wont give you management names to talk to. DONT USE THEM !
This company is horrible Save yourself the aggravation and run !

Terrible company. Technicians made many errors as they ordered the wrong part. Company refuses to reimburse us. Appalling customer service. Save the headache and just buy new instead.

They promised to fix the Miele dishwasher in a week. It took longer than a month before we asked for a refund and still we lost $500 in "fees".

Avoid this company - they'll take your money before fixing anything and let you sit without your broken appliance for months. Their customer service is bad - nobody called us to tell us of any delays - we had to call them like 5 times for updates before they gave us about half the value of what they already charged.
