Sean designed and installed a custom built-in shelving unit - roughly 19 feet wide by 9 feet tall. Looks beautiful and it was a pleasure working with Sean. Would highly recommend Sean and would absolutely work with him again.

Owen and Tiles R Us did a phenomenal job and I can't recommend them highly enough. Very prompt with responses, was able to give a solid quote and stick to it, and even went above and beyond to ensure that the best possible work was done. Before the work started, Owen gave me a thorough rundown of what work was going to happen, and the work was completed efficiently, with professionalism and with the worksite completely cleaned up before he left. Really super clean work and very impressed.

Great experience with Enrique and Professional Tree Services. We had a large Manitoba Maple in our backyard that was growing so large it started to hit our back windows and roof. We looked on Homestars and found Enrique and Professional Tree Services. He was very quick to respond and was able to provide a clear quote and SOW (down to the individual branch we'd like to cut and at what point - very, very detailed). His team was out within the week and they did a great job. Super clean, the tree was trimmed but still looked lovely and they did all the cleanup - you'd never know they were there if you didn't look closely (this is a good thing). And the cost was dead on to the quote and it was a very fair amount. They were so great our neighbours had them out the next day to remove another small tree in their backyard and they similarly had wonderful things to say.

Dryer stopped drying and producing heat suddenly - and I wanted to see if I could fix it before having to replace it. Found Chris Lyras/Uptown Appliance through Homestars and just based on a layman's description of the problem and the model number of dryer I gave him over the phone he was able to narrow down to one of two issues and then showed up the next day with both parts in hand ready to solve the problem. He actually had it fixed within the hour and for a fraction of the cost I thought it would be. I was really impressed with his depth of knowledge and professionalism (he did a full test after the fix, including doing an airflow test on the outlet vent outside the house) and the speed in which he was able to find a solution. Can't recommend Chris enough.

Had two amazing experiences with DrainWorks and Chris Léger and can't recommend them enough. Super clean work, very knowledgeable and incredibly courteous and professional. The first time, we had a bathroom sink that rusted out to the point that the entire cold water handle broke off in my hand. Couldn't fix it myself so I called DrainWorks. DrainWorks sent Chris Léger and he did an amazingly thorough and expert job of installing a completely new tap/faucet combo. He suggested I change out the drain/trap combo leading into wall as well as he could see that it was starting to rust out but I opted to not do it to save cost. Bad idea, because exactly as Chris predicted it might, the drain/trap combo broke about 3 months later, creating a giant leak. So, we had DrainWorks/Chris come back a second time to replace the drain/trap and all the piping going to the wall. He did an equally amazing job the second time around and never even said "I told you so" :)
