Clothes dryer will not start to spin.

Hi Alkej, If your dryer powers on but the drum won't start spinning, there are a few common causes. The problem is often related to a broken drive belt, worn idler pulley, faulty drum rollers, a defective door switch (the dryer won't run if it detects the door as open), or a failed thermal fuse. In some cases, the drive motor itself may be the cause.

If your dryer display shows an error code, it will make it easier to narrow down the issue.
