Sonotube footings set below frost line, joists at 16 inches on centre, double rim joists, staggered blocking, joist tape over every joist top, cut-end sealer on field cuts, GRK structural screws and Simpson Strong-Tie hangers sized to the joist. We build in Eva-Last, TimberTech and TruNorth composite, in cedar, and in pressure treated lumber. Every project starts with a 3D design and a site plan so you can see the build before a board is cut, and the design deposit is credited back at contract signing. Where a build needs a permit we prepare the drawings and permit package and coordinate the inspections. Insured and WCB certified, with a workmanship warranty on every build.
