1-800-GOT-JUNK?

Although they did accommodate us last minute on a Saturday--I was very impressed by their telephone order takers--this place is over-the-moon expensive. All they are there to do is take away a bunch of trash. I didn't think I had all that much. They said it would take between a quarter and half a truck, and of course it came out to a half at the end. The problem was, it was hard to tell how much truck my junk filled since there was already a load of junk in there from the last pick-up. When they showed me the truck, it was like ordering bad fast food--you think you've been given a massive portion until you realize the thin layer of meat sits on a mountain of rice. To add insult, they almost took away a number of items that weren't junk -- my son's stroller cover, a rake, a good tarp -- against my specific instructions to take only the rubbish. All that for $400. I was disappointed and will never use the service again.

1 800 got junk was great. I had a freezer and sofa bed that were taking up space and I didn't know how I was going to get them out. I saw a truck one day, called and set up an appointment. The truck came, gave me an estimate and once I agreed the freezer and sofa bed were out pretty quickly. The men were very polite and professional. I would use the service again if needed.

I was moving out of my house and the closing date came up fast so I called 1-800-got junk. I got the guys to come over on the same day. They took all the garbage I had in my basement that the old tenants left behind. They were fast, efficient, and got the job done. They were polite and friendly and in turn made my move a lot smoother. I would definately recommend this service to all my friends

I called 1-800-GOT-JUNK when I was renovating my basement. The men that showed up were very pleasant and they were able to remove everything. I didn't think they would be able to remove some of the big stuff because the hallway is narrow, but they did it. I was very happy with the service and I would definitely call them again if I ever needed to get rid of anything.

After moving into a new place in Mississauga I found it time to do some spring cleaning before the big rush. When thinking about who to call 1800Gotjunk immediately came to mind. Having never used this service before, only hearing of them though their great reputation I decided to give them a call. To my surprise there they were calling me on the phone to tell me they were on their way and would be there in half an hour. After the guys showed up and introduced themselves I showed them the pile of junk in my garage then offered to pick them up a coffee from around the corner. When I returned no more than 15 minutes later the guys were done the job, had the receipt ready, and finished putting the tarp on the truck. These guys demonstrated every important aspect in customer service and I look forward to seeing Eric and Trevor for my next call to 1800GotJunk.

These guys were prompt, friendly, and efficient! Kitchen renos can be stressful and having the old stuff take up garage space only add to the stress so I called 1-800-Got-Junk and in 24 hours my old cabinets, appliances and garbage was gone! Thanks!

This is the second time I have used the services of 1-800-GOT-JUNK in the past 3 months. They have friendly, professional, upbeat staff. From the person who answers the phone to the men who came to remove my items of garbage, they are a pleasure to deal with. They are flexible about booking and they call when they are 15 minutes away from your home. They come in and look at the job, quote a price and, if you are happy, they take it away. I will definitely use this service anytime I need items removed and I will recommend 1-800-GOT-JUNK to everyone I know.

I called 1-800-got junk because I was doing some early spring cleaning and my wife and I agreed that we had to get rid of our old treadmill, sofa bed, and some other miscellaneous items in order to make room for our new furniture set. I booked the appointment and it turned out they had a truck in the area so I was able to go that same say. The two Gentlemen that came were on time and very professional. I got an estimate and upon agreement the guys got to work. They were quick and efficient and then stumbled on to a problem. The treadmill did not fit through the doors and it was a heavy treadmill. Being fully aware that it is a heavy piece I suggested they leave it and I would find some other way. They said no and proceeded to come up with solutions. The first was to unscrew the frame because that was the part that was too wide. That did not work because the screws were in too tight. I then insisted again that they leave it and again they turned me down. They asked me if it would be ok to remove the the two doors in order get it through. I said sure and away they went, they removed the doors and got the treadmill on the truck. Once the treadmill was on the truck, they came down and put the doors back on for me. I was very impressed with the service I received because it could have been very easy for the guys to leave the heavy treadmill especially being offered twice. I recommend this service to anyone who needs it. My wife and I were very pleased to have our space back in the basement.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mike & Bill for doing such a wonderful job for me today (Woodbridge, Ontario). I had a very stressful situation and they were kind, courteous, punctual, very informative and really seemed to have fun in the process. I had 2 full truck loads and they did it all in the same day. You have 2 terrific guys working for you and I wouldn't hesitate to refer your company to anyone. I hope to have Mike and Bill back in the spring to help my husband with the garage clean out.

We had a garage full of stuff that was not being used and was destined for recycling or junking or whatever. 1-800-Got- Junk backed up one of their trucks and removed everything - and cleaned up behind themselves! Apart from the great service and courteous and friendly employees, I appreciated that they would recycle as much as possible, rather than simply dumping it in the nearest landfill. I would, indeed I already have, recommended this company to friends and family.
