Repair chimney leak and bubbled plaster

We've had a slow chimney leak for 10+ years which 3 other contractors have tried to repair (and for which we paid each time). Unfortunately, Belvedere was no more successful than the previous 3. Belvedere "repaired" the leak and re-plastered the livingroom wall in Summer 2012. Since that time, the plaster has again bubbled all down the wall, meaning the leak is still there. I think Belvedere tried their best to fix this problem once and for all but next time, I'm hiring a roofing company to do the work.

- Have employees skilled specifically in roof and shingle repairs.
- Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
- Figure out that if a general contractor can't fix a problem the first two times, then hire a company that specializes in that problem.
