Roof Shingles, Flashing and Eavetrough Replacement

We received 3 quotes from various local roofing companies when we felt out shingles were getting tired looking and just old. We did not go with the cheapest, but with the one who listened to what we needed and wanted, and did not try to up-sell us on any unnecessary upgrades. His crew proceeded to rip off multiple layers of old shingles and within a day and a half our roof was stripped and ready to be renewed. The were finished reshingling by the end of the second day, and another person came in afterwards to do the flashing, gables and eaves troughs. We are amazed at the amount of work that went into the facelift of our house, and were pleased to find out that, in the end after talking with other people who had their houses done by other roofing companies/contractors, we got much more bang for our buck. Burlington Roofing also remedied an issue we didn’t even know we had from an old small vent hole that the previous owners covered up with just a layer of shingles, not even any tarpaper. Left unchecked much longer there would have been a big problem as it was apparent rainwater had started seeping through but not to the point of soaking the area yet. They installed a new vent cover over it before the shingles and flashing at no extra cost other than the price of the cover (very negligible, not even worth posting). We love the look of our “new” house and the quality of the workmanship that went into everything. We feel 100% satisfied and would have no problem giving this company a reference for excellence.

Approximate cost of services:
$5,200.00

Get a minimum of 3 quotes, and be sure they come and see the property and have a property walk around before giving you any numbers. Also be sure they talk WITH you and not AT you. And most of all, go with your gut, if you feel uneasy and it's not just about the money, pass on them and go with the one you feel the most comfortable with.
