We had 100% wool carpet from Colin Campbell "Natures Carpet" installed in our home in 2016 by a local retailer in the Toronto GTA.
There was a "barnyard" smell initially, which became a "manure" smell with increasing humidity and carpet cleaning.
Colin Campbell replied that the smell was normal and no-one else has complained of this.
We had had to remove the carpet due to the smell and there has been no compensation from Colin Campbell or the retailer.

This company went out of there way to rectify a complaint about a manufacturing flaw in one of their products. They came out and agreed to replace one of there carpets at no cost when the carpet installer, would do nothing.
Their installers were excellent and the quality of work first class.
