In the renovation and construction industry, there is nothing regulating anyone from saying that they can do anything. Unfortunately, we were stuck with someone who could not do the job properly. After cancelling all work with him, we took a week off to recuperate. I searched homestars and found David's reviews.
David called me and asked questions, then came out to look and quote.
We said go ahead and he started a few days later. He pointed out errors of the previous contractor (a carpenter) and even had to redo a shower floor because it was done incorrectly. He gave me great pointers on plumbing as I had to redo some plumbing and install the toilet. We made a few changes as he went along. This increased his time on the job. It would cause anyone to be frustrated. He was very patient with us and accomodated the changes. Once the job was complete, he told us to call him if we needed anything or had any concerns. We didn't call him, but he called us about a week later to make sure everything was ok.
He is a rare find, very customer focussed, and a devoted family man.
He is the kind of person that you are proud to know and work with.
