The Worst

Dropped offmy almost dead MacBook Air. Paid for diagnostic and back up of files and email. Over a week later, told we needed a new motherboard and battery for $1100. Decided to buy a new laptop. Asus brand. Of $179 +tx for install of our old pics music etc. We're called to pick up laptop and wait 49 mins as they were busy with other customers. They forgot to install Microsoft. Wait 15 mins and go home. Get home, out pics and emails aren't there. Try to call 3x no answer. Drive there, explain situation, sales guy apologizes and says he will personally get the pics and emails, will be ready early the next day. Don't hear from them the next day and drive there after work as I called 3x and left a message-n call. Get there, it's not ready. They finish it quickly and out emails aren't able to me moved and they act like I'm clueless because I didn't know that Outlook isn't compatible and they can't save the email. I say to the The "geek" that my laptop was a Apple and they should've been able to tell me that first before I paid to have data saved and then migrated. The man I dealt with was apologetic and did refund the second fee of $179+tax. The next day, we returned the laptop after backing it up ourselves. Going to Apple, getting another Mac Air-might be pricier but the service outstanding!!! Never going to Best Buy or Geek squad again. Whatever money I would've "saved" I spent in time, energy and stress. Not Worth It!

Approximate cost of services:
$400.00
