We recently purchased a dishwasher from Goemans. We had purchased appliances from them in the past and had been happy.
Because of COVID-19, our interactions with the sales team were online. We were initially put in contact with a salesperson who recommended one brand of dishwasher but, even with questioning, provided no other options (odd, and made us wonder if there was some sort of special commission from the specific brand). We finally had to contact a second salesperson who was helpful.
The dishwasher took 2 weeks to be delivered and installed (including new electrical box). It worked for one demonstration cycle and then has not been able to be turned on. Despite it failing within 12 hours of installation, Goemans is indicating we need to go through the company warranty and we’ve had no further contact from them. Not the support we expected, especially when the installation seems questionable.
