I signed a contract with a 10% deposit with Loc-Tite via sales person Jim 4 weeks ago, the work as agreed to was to have started 1 week ago, which is why I engaged Loc-Tite as Jim said my timing would be met with no issue. Jim said the laborers were 2-3 weeks behind him. I mentioned to Jim during the sales process I purchased a hot tub and require a project commencement date so I can advise the hot tub company of delivery and subsequent install, since Loc-Tite was going to prepare the hot tub pad.
I have not received any phone calls to discuss commencement date of the project. I have spoken to the receptionist on a number of occasions who says she has relayed my messages to Gregg and was told to expect a call from him according to her. To date no call has been received. I have tried numerous times to reach Jim (sales person) and left messages and no call back as of yet. I also asked for Gregg's cell or direct contact number and the receptionist said she can't provide it as he doesn’t like to be disturbed while on a job site...Now this leaves a very sour taste in my mouth. What company representative has no time to contact a signed customer or a potential customer? It only takes a few minutes to reach out and make a phone call, no one is that busy. However avoidance of phone calls or not returning phone calls is an issue of not wanting to face customers and therefore is in the wrong business when dealing with consumers.
I have been reading many reviews today on different sites and the majority have similar issues. Customer service is non-existent, and appears that the work is also an issue this I can’t speak to at this time.
I have told the receptionist that I want my 10% deposit returned since Loc-Tite failed to meet the written and verbal contractual agreement which the sales representative and I shook hands on and my wife is a witness to this all.
The price agreed to was similar to other contractors quoting.
PLEASE BEWARE IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO ENGAGE LOC-TITE.
