Mister Wood

I had mister wood strip and re-stain my stair case in my house and they did a wonderful job!! Jeremy was very professional and kept the work area very clean. I would highly recommend them!

Darlene & Jeremy were easy and professional to work with and they did a fantastic job of stripping and refinishing our old staircase in downtown Toronto. This 100 year old staircase had layers upon layers of lead paint on it and they did a tremendous job of getting it back down to the original wood. Then they helped us pick out a great stain colour for it and with their expertise and attention to detail, they were able to hide some of the wear and tear it had taken over the years. Now it looks great! Thanks again Mister Wood!

We recently had Darlene, Jeremy and Louis come and completely finish our staircase in our brand new home that the builder left unfinished. We were told what a nightmare it could be staining Maple. Darlene assured us that they would do a beautiful job and not to worry. Well, we couldn't be happier! Not only were they wonderful, professional and the most trustworthy people, they did the most incredible job, took the time needed to do the job right and everything looks incredible!! I can't say enough about what a professional job that was done. We had Jeremy refinish a very very antique grandfather clock and another antique piece of furniture also. He did an incredible job!

For over 30 years, we owned an old oak pedestal dining room table. Earlier this spring, the Mister Wood people were finishing some new wooden window frames for us as well as refinishing some older woodwork in our home, and we asked about doing our table. Jeremy was happy to accept the job and in a few weeks' time our table was returned in fabulous condition. We had never used the table without some sort of covering for all these years and now we enjoy the beautiful wood finish every day. We would highly recommend the workmanship of Mr. Wood.

Our neighbours' gorgeous oak woodwork was refinished by these people, so when we got new wooden windows, we used this service. Also had some old oak door frames refinished. Really outstanding results--we are very pleased. Now we are getting an oak pedestal table refinished...!

The guys at Mister Wood were great. They picked up our table and told us that they would complete the staining sooner than we thought and would deliver the table. There were some delivery hiccups but when we saw our table, it was worth the delay.

Darlene & Jeremy came to finish a newly installed oak staircase, refinish pickets, posts, and handrail, and match all to already installed hardwood flooring. They did an exceptional job, not only with their work, but with minimum mess and disruption to our home. The job was completed quickly and was beautifully done.

I'm glad that I didn't go the route of refacing the staircase.

darlene has taught jeremy well, my wood panelling looks beautifull, true craftsmanship, my new hardwood floor matches everything else to a T, i would recommend mr wood to anyone, very tidy, and clean, good advice too

Darlene and company were always punctual and very obliging.
The job was more complicated because it was a two-tone colour application. It looks great! They were very professional!! Would call them back to do any other wood refinishing.
