Moveworks gave me a Fixed price quote to move from Mississauga to Markham. Their President who came to the door to give the quote said, if they go over the estimated time there is no extra cost, if they finish under they would charge according to hours.
3 guys showed up, 2 were complete amatuers one guy looked senior. They wasted time took frequesnt breaks.
At the destination after unloading one truck they asked to be paid in full which I did after this senior guy said, they would charge 10% extra as there is too much stuff to be carried. When I refused, he suddenly became aggressive, took the runners off the carpets in my new home and started throwing the boxes with complete disregard for the labels on them. When I asked them to put the runners back on they threw it at me and asked me to put it on myself.
after this I have left 3 messages for the President to call me back but I still haven't heard from him. I have officially lodged a complaint with better business practices and Consumer society. These people look at the MLS listing and come to the door, please show them the door.
