Move

I have mixed feelings about this review because the movers themselves worked very hard and leading up to the move service was responsive and friendly.
I had to add a pick up to the move a few days before our moving day and confirmed the details with Anne, twice...the day we negotiated the pick up and the day prior to the move. The day of the move, the movers were at the final move location and not the first pick up location as I had scheduled and confirmed. So, about 45 minutes was lost here, but we were okay with that. Things happen, we get it.
Once at the house for the big move, the movers were friendly and hard working. Unfortunately, the packing of the furniture was not done as quoted. My dining chairs were not covered until they were stuffed and stacked in the truck. I mentioned to the movers, that the chairs don't look protected and he said "I'll cover them after, they'll be fine"...I said "As long as they don't get damaged I'll trust you as the expert". Well sure enough, one of my chairs is damaged and we did not notice until a few days after the move.
When unpacking the truck at the new house, I found quite a few boxes in the wrong rooms though the boxes were clearly labeled as were the rooms. Other than these issues the move went fairly well.
It was a very long day and I paid them the maximum (as they guarantee their quote to be no more then...) only to realize after they left, I paid them to much.
So, I've left a voicemail for Anne twice and have not heard back from her. It's been two weeks. I would like to speak with her regarding the chair and the paid time.
The payment I admit, I wasn't on my game...but the least they could do is return a phone call.
So, with the couple of hundred I thought I saved from the guys I really wanted to hire, I ended up spending on the damage to the chair and the over charge.
