I was initially quoted $180 (plus tax) flat fee to investigate a leak when contacted over the phone, which suddenly became $190 when the technician arrived. It took him about 45 minutes to find the leak, which I was then quoted $400 (plus tax) for the fix to replace a cracked pipe joint for the drain pipe for a sink. The fix only took about 25 minutes.

The final bill was $595 (plus tax), which is $15 more than I was originally quoted for each job in total.
