I'm going to start with the positives and say that our installers were fantastic, worked very hard and we couldn't be more happy with them. They got to our place when they were scheduled to, and dealt with our previous door which was a disaster. Did not look like a fun job, but they made sure it all got done and kept us involved along the way to make sure we would be happy with the end result. We've only had the door and sidelights installed for a week now, but we're happy with the quality of the product itself.

Now, to be fully transparent and honest, on to the negatives. During the initial consult, we weren't 100% sure on the direction we wanted to take, but we were told by the sales guy this wasn't a problem and to just contact him if we decided we wanted to change anything as it would take a while for the order to go through, proper measurements to be taken, etc. Well, after the initial contract was signed, we might as well have been hunting for a unicorn. Phone calls and emails went unanswered, we had to call head office, keep calling the sales guy, it was very frustrating to say the least. Eventually we were able to change our order but it left a very bad taste in our mouths.

On to the next negative. They send in a "professional" a few weeks later to take exact, proper measurements. We figured everything was fine at this point until the product was manufactured and the installers showed up. It wasn't measured correctly at all and our installers knew right away. After they called head office, they were told to make us happy. We had already waited quite a while for this install and wanted it done at this point. We worked through various options with the installers and in the end we were happy with what they did for us, although I'm sure it made their job more difficult and it was personally stressful for us. Although it was a screw up on their end, we weren't offered compensation of any kind and were basically left to deal with it on our own with the help of the installers.

To summarize, good product and great, hardworking installers. I would NEVER deal with that sales rep again and if they tried to send me the same guy to measure I would refuse him as well. Might be worthwhile to request multiple people come out and do a proper measurement to avoid any issues if they'll offer that.
