John and his team did an good job on our driveway. Although the design wasn't our expectation, the outcome is very good. Also the price is reasonable. Overall I am pretty satisfied of john's concrete work.

The Solocrete team did an amazing job on our driveway and backyard porch, all within a reasonable price. John & Co were extremely courteous and professional. They were passionate about the work they were doing and it showed in the end results! Not only were they extremely skilled and hard workers but they were also friendly and accommodating of all of our suggestions or questions. All the work was done in a meticulous manner, and was completed with care. The end result surpassed all of our expectations. We have even had a few neighbours complimenting the new look of our driveway. We are extremely happy that we decided to obtain the services of the Solocrete team and would recommend them to anyone!

If I could give John and his team a grade higher than 10 I would. My project started when I purchased my home about a year ago, the back yard was about 80% cemented in, which I wouldn't have minded if it had been done properly. Unfortunately the existing cement was all cracked and sloping back towards the house which was obviously a huge concern. Understanding I likely had no options other than tearing it all out and starting from scratch, I started reaching out to various contractors for quotes. I was looking to remove the existing cement and replace it with stamped concrete. Considering how bad the existing cement was, many contractors either said outright that they did not want to take the job on or demanded an obscene amount of money simply to remove the old cement. After I read the many positive reviews for Solocrete, I met with John who was very honest with me in that the removal was going to be a lot of work but he was willing to do it. Overall for the removal and the new stamped concrete, Solocrete provided the best price I could find after speaking to dozens of contractors. When the job started John and his team were very professional, friendly and worked very quickly; the old cement was removed within a couple of days. They were cognizant of my existing stamped concrete driveway and they worked very cautiously to ensure they did not cause any damage to the already finished area. Now that the project is officially complete, I could not be happier with the finished product. They successfully laid down the new cement, stamped it, parged around the entire house and cut the cement without chipping any corners and sealed it to a spectacular finish! The job was only completed a few weeks ago but the quality is so great that I already have friends and family reaching out to Solocrete to help them with their projects. A huge thank you to John, Adella and their entire team for the fantastic work they did. Thanks to them, my wife and I can finally start enjoying our backyard!

I had 6 reputable companies give me a quote, and Solocrete was not the cheapest, or not the most expensive - they were right in the middle. So to make my decision I asked for references, one was down the street from me which was an immaculate job from 2 years ago, and another i saw was 8 yrs old - again great condition. So I was sold. Once they started the job, they came on-time, and did a lot each time. I am pretty picky with details, and they never hesitated to satisfy my need for perfection (as they also want) - so now i have a great looking job done and all my neighbors envy the work. When we purchased our home a few years ago, there was already a wide stamped concrete driveway. We ran into trouble last year as there is a man who drives around Brampton and reports about 40 houses to the city every month if he thinks their driveways are too wide. We received a notice from the city that ours was too wide and that we needed to have it corrected. If it wasn't corrected on time, they would fine us up to $25,000. I contacted about 10 companies and only Solocrete was willing to come out and discuss the issue with us. Other companies did not want to work on a driveway that was not their original work nor did they want a project as small as ours. We received a reasonable quote from Solocrete and they cut the excess driveway off, redid the border, filled cracks, and sealed the entire driveway and walkway. There was one mistake made during the job but it was quickly corrected and everything surpassed our expectations. Thank you so much for your help!

To give you some background, this was over 2000 sq feet of work. I spoke to many different contractors and selected Solocrete - John left a great impression when we met giving me the confidence that the job would be done right. I was thoroughly impressed with the workmanship and speed. The backyard looks great - the coping around the pool was done exceptionally well. I definetly recommend solocrete for any cement work.

We are extremely impressed with Joe, John and the entire team at Solocrete. When we first met with Joe we wern't sure what we wanted. After walking the property and taking a few measurements Joe invited us up to his show room in Brampton and showed us an amazing plan. It was everything we were looking for and the attention to detail and functionality of what he designed was more than we could ask for. Solocrete put in a new front porch, front and rear steps, a driveway (5 feet wider than the existing one), a side walkway, two rear patios plus a 5 sided shed pad. It was a big job and I was a little nervous that they would be able to start and finish on time but they did it all in one week. These guys work hard. We take a lot of pride in our home and we wanted to make sure we received a quality job - and these guys delivered. It wasn't the lowest quote, it wasn't the highest quote, but similar to other reviews here I think we got a fair price and a beautiful job. We took a look at several of Solocrete's jobs before we signed on and they were all very impressive. Joe did my parents property as well as our former neighbours - nothing but quality work. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for concrete work! They are easy to work with, timely, and make sure you are happy with the finished product. Excellent workmanship with elegant and sophisticated results. John from Solocrete extensively modernized our back-split by adding decorative concrete on the verandah, extending the six steps, widening the driveway and walkway to the back of the house. I'm glad we listened to his suggestion about repouring the garage floor on out 33 year old house. Best thing we did!

The work was done in June 2011 and to this date (October 2012) there are no cracks. We are so impressed with John's professionalism that we have commissioned him to add jewelstone on our 25 year old back patio and shed floor (800 sq. feet).

We first met John in 2010 when he did a driveway and walkway for our neighbour. Confident with our neighbour's attention to detail and workmanship, we hired John to work his magic with our house a year later. My son, impressed with the work on both our houses, commissioned John to do extensive work on his driveway and front/back of his Oakville home this past summer 2012.

We understand our responsibility for proper maintenance in using plastic snow shovels and sealing the concrete work regularly.

We have received many compliments from friends and neighbours. Strangers drive up and compliment us on John's work. Without hesitation and reservation we have recommended Solocrete to them.

We contracted Solocrete in April to put in a stamped concrete patio in our backyard back by end of May. From the first consultation visit by Jose to the finishing of the job, everything went seamlessly. Jose was helpful and professional when assisting us with the design and in giving a reasonable quote. The crew started and finished the project on time, and all the crew members were very friendly and professional. We didn't like how one of the steps had a sharp corner and it was promptly remedied after we mentioned it. Since the patio has been put in place, we've had several bbq parties and got tons of compliment on it. If we ever decide to get the front porch and the driveway done in the future, we'll definitely have Solocrete to do the job for us again.

We were very inpressed with the great work and high level of service provided by Solocrete. They came referred to us by a family friend and we are so thankful that we decided to move forward with them. They work very hard to keep their customers happy and they were very accomodating to all of our questions and ideas. Every member of John's crew was professional and displayed a strong passion and interest in what they do. Idala at head office is always available and if not she returns your call within 30 minutes (even if it's 9pm)...who else does that???
